I can save states of Master System games on the Mega SG.

Everything seems to be announced on Twitter these days, which is a shame.

Indeed!

The game works now, after I tumbled over the newest MEP OS update while upgrading to Megathemes.
It would be perhaps nice, if MegaEverdrive OS updates were announced here on the board (Or have I overseen anything?).

I tried several ROMs and they all show me a pink screen.
Is it maybe because I use the MEP in a Mega SG?

Can anyone recommend me a valid Virtua Racing ROM that works with the MEP?
I have the cartridge of the game but don't manage to dump it properly. I tried two ROMs from the internet. In the first the two player mode doesn't work and in the second the system shows a black screen after a two player game.

Maybe I use a bad dump. I've dumped the cartridge twice.
Got to search the internet for a working ROM then.
Thanks KRIKzz for checking.

I might have to add, that I run my Sega games with a Mega SG.

I did as you said. All I got was a black screen when I started the game.

Mega EverDrive / Pier Solar not running with Mega ED Pro
« on: September 05, 2020, 01:31 PM »
When I want to run the game I get a screen telling me: "Warning. Please use .cue file if this file is a part of CD image."
I can't start the game.
The Pier Solar I own is on cartridge and it's also the one I have on the Mega ED.

This game isn't working with the Mega ED Pro. All I get is a pink screen. The original cartridge of the game just works fine and dandy on the console.

Mega EverDrive / Simple question about saving on the Mega Everdrive
« on: August 04, 2020, 03:05 PM »
Got a Mega Everdrive Pro recently. Is there a possibility the cartridge saves game progresses automatically, like high score lists, without using the manual in-game save state function?

Wait at least 5 weeks.

Same for deliveries to western Europe?

What's the maximum of memory space in micro SD cards to be used with the Pro?

why bother with everdrive if you are just gonna play games you already own? Seems little redundant and a lot to work to bump them and then playing them on everdrive.

1. In my understanding, an Everdrive has the advantage to preserve the original cartridges and the cartridge port on the console, since I'll remove the Everdrive cartridge rather rarely from the console.
2. Finally I've changed my mind: I'd like to save my game progresses also with games which don't have a save option, mainly because the games crash from time to time.

3. How are you going to connect your original cartridge to your PC for transferring rom data + save data?

With a cartridge dumper.
And no, I don't intend to transfer save data from the original cartridges. Forget the question I asked about that.

Edit: And thank you for the SD cards recommendations, I planned to buy one of an established brand anyway.
