I´m new, so hello everyone.

I´m LuigiStar, and I have a question:

I had heard talk about a GameBoy emulator inside Pokémon/Pocket Monsters Stadium 1/2, and also I saw this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZX54lGgiHU

So, I ask:

This is real?

And, if it´s real, how I do that? I need a Hex Editor or something?

I´ll be grateful any help.

Greetings.

Heya! I only got Pokemon Stadium 1 so can only speak for that. You put a transfer pak in the back of your controller
(Looks like this: https://media.pocketmonsters.net/pages/63/tfp.jpg )
and then when you go into Pokémon stadium you go into the big GameBoy place
(Looks like this: http://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/retro/user_screenshots/saves10/103323/NINTENDO64--Pokemon%20Stadium_Sep30%2020_37_49.png )
and you can just click play and enjoy it on your tv. You can also speed the game up from 1 to 2 to 3. Nothing else is required. Just a transfer pak and Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow I believe.

Also what is also really cool is you can then later import Pokemon from your GameBoy save into Pokemon stadium itself and use in battles vs the bosses and cups! A neat feature for sure.

Hope that cleared some things up for you, Best regards Muukzor. Enjoy!

Edit: I saw that in the video apparently he plays other games aswell, I sadly do not know how to do that. Someone else will have to answer that. But I do know  how the emulator works in general.

That guy called "ZoinKity" plays other GB games than Pokémon.

You can look up this comment:

http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/spoofing-pocket-monsters-stadium-to-play-non-pok%C3%83%C2%A9mon-games.51069/#post-756424

There´s a link that have some info about how to do that (dasm.txt).

The problem is: How I do with that?

I think that I should open the Pocket Monster Stadium ROM with a Hex Editor, but I don´t really know.

Title modified to clarify the question.

Depends.

If you use flashcart like EMS Smart Cart 64M GB and you use ONLY Pokémon Yellow ROM, yes, it could work. Pokémon Yellow must be the only game in the EMS.

But if you use flashcart with MicroSD like Everdrive GB or ElCheapoSD BennVenn, you must to do a mod in the Transfer Pak and then boot the EDGB loader to be in game mode:

I don´t know if this works in a ElCheapoSD BennVenn.
