I know they both use the DP-1 chip, neither of those games work. Super Mario Kart will load and have the Nintendo icon display then freeze. Pilotwings will load up, I can select a mission, but when I hit start to start the mission, the screen goes black. The music still plays but there is no picture. What am I missing?
All my ROMS are good, I've played them on multiple emulators to test.

Try disabling the in game hooks as it seems the inputs locking up on the screen are caused by it.

you need have dsp files inside the sd2snes folder for them to work
dsp1.bin (CRC32: 27124599)
dsp1b.bin (CRC32: 588279B4)
dsp2.bin (CRC32: F0221C90)
dsp3.bin (CRC32: E3B54E6A)
dsp4.bin (CRC32: CA09E176)

It's either DSP1 or 1B, not both, otherwise you black screen all of the games that use DSP-1.
