Japanese versions are the only ones I ever provided in my complete folder though I don't remember Daisenpuu too well as no one has figured out a way to convert a PCE rom to work on a GBA except the ones that were premade years ago so I haven't really been checking out new codes for these games recently. Ever since the Super Card SD died I in fact never checked them again as for Terra Cresta II if I recall their was a in game code but I forgot what it did, something with having max power at the start may have been it.
Thanks again anyway, seems that I'm not going to be able to play those games all the way through as I need invincibilty cheats for them,...infy lives no good as you are send back to checkpoints.

Oh, I can't get that invincible cheat to work on Shinobi, do I need to enter it on the Shinobi title logo screen or at beginning of level 1?! Either way I can't get that input cheat to work :-(

Hi there, this is driving me BONKERS!
Can someone PLEASE create invincibility GG codes for the following PC Engine (Japanese versions) games please, these games are driving me mad as I cannot get far in them and they don't allow you to carry on from where you died so they send you back time and time again to the previous checkpoint, please help someone, I would really like to play them all the way through.

Terra cresta II - invincible code please.
Daisenpuu - invincible code please.
Image Fight - new invincible code please so it allows you to pick up the bonuses (current patch fails to allow this).

Please help out a frustrated gamer chaps, I'll give you a shout out once I upload the game footage on my channel for providing the working GG codes  :D

Yeah a lot of codes have weird effects like not getting power ups but that's the benefit of getting through the game, I strangely remember Kyuukyoku Tiger loosing its music which is why on my folder provided I added one that just have infinite lives so the music wouldn't cut off... I may be forgetting this as I haven't used these hacks for years but didn't Raiden have a issue where if you die on the game and kill the boss it wouldn't process to the next screen or that may be the SNES version with hacks I dunno xD

Three of those can give you invincibility for ingame codes they are as follows...

Cyber Core - Open Password Screen In title screen, hold Left, then press Select and enter for Invincibility MIKARIN

Saint dragon - At the title screen use your left hand and place one finger next to the Up button on your controller but don't press it yet, instead use your right hand and press the run button with one finger and then select with the other while still holding down the run button. This will cause the game to reset itself now when you have pressed run and select quickly let go of the run and select buttons before the title screen shows, and quickly hold the up button then press run once then release both buttons when you see the cutscene of the dragon rising into the sky then when the gameplay begins fly straight into the 1st enemy you see and you will go through them thus making you invincible for the entire game!

Shinobi - If you push the following code at the beginning of the game (on the main screen), then you will be invincible II,I,I,II
Many thanks for that Richard, I'm using an Ibuffalo gaming pad through Ootek emulator so hopefully the codes will still work.
Yes It's good to have an invincy cheat but when it doesn't allow you to pick up the power ups it result in you playing through the game and fighting the bosses with the weakest weapon which can take AGES to do as It's like fighting a Lion with a pea shooter :-/

If anyone can help out with the other 6 that would be great :-) (thumbs up!).

Hi chaps, can someone please work out the following GG codes fro the following PC Engine (Japanese versions) games please, there are a few patched versions I have but the cheats do not work on them correctly.

Kyuukyoku Tiger - invincible code please, the current patch version I'm using loses sound when you get hit so no good.

Thunder Blade - infy lives code please, the cheat on the current patch version I'm using fails on the middle (fly into) stages on each level and becomes vincible so no good.

Cyber Core - invincible code needed please.

Daisenpuu - invincible code needed please.

Image Fight - invincible code please, the current patch version I'm using does not allow you to pick up the power ups so no good.

Saint dragon - invincible code please.

Shinobi - invincible + lives codes please.

Terra cresta II - invincible code please.

Violent Soldier - invincible code please, the current patch version I'm using does not allow you to pick up the power ups at times so no good.

A huge thank you for whoever can provide them for me :-)

Yep needed to call you out of the shadows mate,...I was hopeful the China Warrior request would stir you, thanks for that!  :D

If so can anyone give me GG codes for the following PC Engine .pce game roms please?!

P.s, I'm using Ootake emulator which (as you know) loads .pce roms.

Outrun - infy time
The Kung Fu - infy energy
Space Harrier - infy lives
Shinobi - invincible

Thanks for your time!

If I recall 3 of those 4 already have codes in the readme folder however The Kung Fu needs the hold run and select input and inputting a directional code into the start of the title screen to reach a screen which lets you have infinite energy as the codes don't do it.
Worst of this input will not work on the new Mini's that came out as it removed the feature of pressing run and select as it brings up the save state menu instead though I have managed to reset it with presses it doesn't work like the real hardware did.

Read me folder?! I can't seem to see that mate, I found a "pc cheat" folder on this forum containing a load of pc engine patched games but they are all .IPS files which are not recognised by the "Ootek" emulator.

Anyway, update  :)   After opening GGGuy ap, I noticed a file full of PCE codes to use on the GG device (silly me for not seeing it), Shinobi infy lives = 18483:AD, Outrun infy time = 338B7:A5, Space Harrier = 73F1:A5,...so now these 3 games are patched and cheats enabled.
Sadly no infy energy code for either The Kung Fu or China Warrior, can you or someone on here provide me with the GG code/s I need, my emulator is not recognising the joypad input code to enable game cheat, a patched version will get round that chaps  :)

Thank you.

P.s, why do I have to keep answering around 4 questions every time I want to reply or post?1 It's really over the top and frustrating, is there a quicker way round?!

Readme = Pcecheat is the readme folder I just usually refer that as it as it's a notepad document. And I wonder why the folder contained IPS files for the PCEcheats I am certain my one called "Super Famicom Turbo" had all the games patched already retry this folder set... https://www.sendspace.com/file/wrcsn1

As for China Warrior or The Kung Fu it's a pretty basic input all you do is: Upon start up where you would either see the Hudson logo or the title screen gently hold down select and run which should reset the game then when the title screen shows release pressing down the run button and press up once then release pressing down he select button and press up 3 times, then press right 6 times, down 2 times and left 2 times to get to a invincibility menu.

I'll give it another shot buddy but I'm not confident as I'm using an Ibuffalo Snes controller on the Ootek emulator, it maybe something to do with that which is resulting in that input not working, a GG code patch would be much easier if one is knocking about?!
I'll get back to you :-)

P.s, my laptop doesn't seem to want to download that link you posted, just does nothing when clicking "download", don't want to risk deactivating my virus protector if It's that causing the download to fail.

Even with the virus protector it just opens up a random window which is just closed by clicking on the X button then when you click the downlaod again it provides the link, it has been passed in other messages and has been confirmed to be downloadable so it varies.

Yep got it now thanks, I downloaded it as administrator, can't believe "The Kung Fu/China Warrior" Isn't in there, I expected that to have been GG'd :-(

No probs and glad you got it, yeah I have no idea why they never made a hack for it. It's funny how a lot of games have built in codes that button inputs far exceed the ones GGGuy could be patched with here's 3 of the most useful ones in readme files...

https://www.sendspace.com/file/3zks5d - A text document which points out what each of the GGGuy patched games in the folder give you

https://www.sendspace.com/file/vrz0tx - A text document of all games Turbografx-16 games which had codes you could input via button commands

https://www.sendspace.com/file/t9i7q0 - Same as before but for the PC Engine side

Thanks again bud!

Special Criminal Investigation (Europe)
Infinite Time (from Mezmorize- http://gamehacking.org/game/41654)
39D2:00

If you have more requests, check if the code exists here:
http://gamehacking.org/system/sms/all

For example - http://gamehacking.org/game/41654

If there is a code that says Genie and is formatted like 009-D2C-3BE that will work fine. The RAW codes are RAM values and are not usable in the program - C415:37

Yep I'll certainly do that, if I can work them out myself then I won't need to contact you, but if I have any probs then I hope you don't mind me asking you  :)

Thanks Kyle, I will let you know when I have uploaded any of them, cheers mate.

Sorry I was missing an extra 0 on those codes. Should be double - 00 instead of single 0.

610F:00 not 610F:0

I just go by Kyle. I have had aliases before but I get tired of them. It is my first name. If you want to give me a shout out, you could say Kyle the Game Genie Guy or something - http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1054/

Xenon 2 got infinite lives. Infinite energy was getting annoying. Do you respawn at some point when dying? Here's where I was with it.

Xenon 2 - Megablast (Europe) (Image Works)
Infinite Energy (DCD4)
94D:3A
46A2:3A
47B8:3A

Excellent, they all work like a dream Kyle, can't thank you enough for them, now I can add them to the list of UNemulated longplays on my channel and once I have them recorded, edited and uploaded I will shout you out on them and inform you of those games  :)
Yeah Xenon 2 was one of those annoying games that when you die you were sent right back to the start and not where you left off,...one of my biggest game hates that  >:(
So the infy energy code is gem!!!

Brilliant work, thanks again!!!
Ah, I forgot one, in your own time could you sort me out an infy time code for SCI - CHASE H.Q. II, I got the rom from here: http://www.planetemu.net/rom/sega-master-system/special-criminal-investigation-europe-1

All the best Kyle and cheers!!!!

Power Strike (USA, Europe)
Infinite Lives (from terpsfan101- http://gamehacking.org/game/41579)
610F:0

Shadow of the Beast (Europe)
Invincible (from  Mezmorize- http://gamehacking.org/game/41626)
785D:0

Hi Kyle, thanks so much for helping me out with those codes,...Rocky, Fire & Forget II and Renegade work perfectly, not to mention the ones I got from that document when I downloaded the GGG ap  :)

Sadly 2 of the codes do not work so I was wondering if you could investigate a little more.
These are:
Shadow Of The Beast (Europe) "Infinite health": Rom downloaded from here: http://www.planetemu.net/rom/sega-master-system/shadow-of-the-beast-europe-1

Power Strike 1 (USA, Europe) "infinite lives": Rom downloaded from here: http://www.planetemu.net/rom/sega-master-system/power-strike-usa-europe-1

Beast just continues to lose all 9 heath points till death,...and Power Strike 1 fails to load when the code is patched  :-\
The Beast infy lives code (334F:3A) works perfectly but It's infy health I need mate.

I will be shouting you out on those vids once I've uploaded them, would you like to be known as Kyle?...or another name?

For anyone else reading this, here is my Retro game channel, over 1000 vids using all original hardware, I hope you will pop by and take a look  :)

Thanks again Kyle.
