T-Connector for Changing Super Famicom Chip Games' Language?

Can a T-Connector be used to boot chip games like Yoshi's Island? For example, I own the Super Famicom Yoshi's Island. Can I install it in the T-Connector and boot the US Yoshi's Island rom from the Super Everdrive and play the game in English?

It's not really important but I'm curious to know if it would work.

Thanks for confirming. I take it that the T-connector is restricted to DSP games only?
