Check the Exp Volume slider in the AVS menu, it may be too low for you to hear the N8 Pro's expansion audio.  Also check the volume levels of the expansion audio chips in the N8 Pro's menu.

Laser Invasion no longer crashes with OSv2.10 at the LaserScope test screen, but it does flash a frame of junk graphics when the options menu is shown.  Updated spreadsheet of issues :

I am not aware of any limitation from the PC Engine HuCard's slot which would prohibit the implementation of Ten no Koe 2 device.  The HuCard slot has full access to the address and data bus and the enables needed to implement a 2KiB RAM chip, which is what the Ten no Koe provides.  I do not know if the Turbo EverDrive has the capabilities to implement that RAM while running a HuCard game.

The unofficial OS supports storing Backup RAM save files on the SD card. That's better than Ten no Koe Bank.

I didn't know it exists. Does it work with first versions of Turbo ED ?

You still need the Ten no Koe 2 if you have a CoreGrafx unless you have the CD-ROM add-on.  Even with the unofficial firmware I do not believe the Turbo EverDrive supports the Ten no Koe 2 (the Expansion Port device), only the Ten no Koe Bank (the HuCard device).  HuCard games only support the Ten no Koe 2 or Backup Booster 1/2 in the absence of a CD-ROM unit.  A CD-ROM game can support the Ten no Koe Bank.  If you imagine how these devices physically work, then it makes sense.

Mapper 99 has dipswitches, but it is tricky or perhaps even impossible to simulate on a flash cart because it repurposes the bits at $4016 and $4017 which are used in different ways in a NES and Famicom versus the Vs. System.

There are more mappers with dipswitch settings than you might think.  Mappers 45, 83 and 90 have dip switches or jumpers, and there are other mappers which the EverDrive N8 doesn't support that also have them.

Found one more bug in Laser Invasion.  When testing the Laser Scope Practice option in the Option Menu, the N8 Pro will frequently crash the game when the light gun trigger is pressed.  I have an original cartridge of this game and it does not crash no matter how many times you press the trigger or how often the game flashes the screen.  I added it to the list.

I see a little jitter in the converted cartridge but more in the N8 Pro in your video.  I see none with my N8 Pro and either the Japanese or the translated ROM on an unmodified AV Famicom.

Do not expect unlicensed games to run on any EverDrive GB.  Sachen games like Captain Knick-Knack have problems running on even the best emulators due to the lack of knowledge about the bankswitching hardware Sachen used.  If it does not use MBC1, 2, 3 or 5 and is larger than 32KiB, it probably will not work.

The newest mapper update fixes a ton of issues I had.  I was pleased to remove 2/3rds of the problem games from my list.  Prior to v2.08, my list had 87 entries, now it is down to 29.

 Also, Mapper 262 was added but the only game that uses that mapper, Street Heroes (Asia) (Ja) (Unl).nes, shows garbled sprites during a match, but only sometimes. 

You forgot to mention Mapper 83 was added too.

45-in-1 (Unl) (As) [f1].nes is the correct iNES but those mapper settings are not quite correct.  You need NES 2.0 header (Extended iNES in Nestopia) to designate 2048KB of CHR-ROM.  It does not matter anyway, because even with the correct header I get a garbled image.

The maximum specification of iNES 1.0 is 4080KiB/2040KiB PRG/CHR.  The maximum specification of NES 2.0 is 65,520KiB/32,760KiB PRG/CHR with the regular size method and 64,563,604,257,983,430,656bytes/64,563,604,257,983,430,656bytes with the alternate size method.

You can convert this pirate multi-cartridge from UNIF to iNES, it uses Mapper 90.

Major League's recent English Translation patch fixes the mirroring issue on the N8 Pro (only remaining regression from N8) because it uses a different mapper.  I had to add the Bandai games that use EEPROM saving, they do not save.
