I have a SanDisk 2GB Micro SD Card formatted to FAT32, Quick & Slow doesn't matter

I'm having a similar issue. In my HiDefNES, AV Famicom, any OS above v16 will get a black screen on ROM load. I have the original N8, btw. I bumped up to the latest OS, but then had to revert back to v16 to get everything working again.

OS Version: 16
Bios ver: 5
CPID: 2

There's nothing wrong with my Micro Card Slot

When I don't have OS on the Crad it just tells me I don't have a OS

The 1st Pic is with the Micro SD Card, But not the EDFC Folder

The 2nd isn't with a Micro SD Card

I really think it's not the Card, It's the folder or something

When I add the EDFC goes black

Also I don't know if the Battery has anything to do with it, I don't have the battery installed

Ok, so I went all out and did the following. TL;DR, I got the original N8 Famicom to work with the latest firmware.

- Changed my AC adapter with a different Genesis type-1 one.
- Recapped my AV Famicom with HiDefNES
- Cleaned all contacts
- Formatted original SD Card (Samsung) and a new SD Card (San Disk) and imported the same ROM library from the same source. Tested both.
- No luck

- Blew in the n8...it worked. (I'm serious) I tried both SD cards, and they worked. Upgraded firmware to the latest, and it still worked.

My guess is that there is a contact/power issue. I'll try again in a few days and see if my results change.
