without community support, I struggle to find enthusiasm, and would much rather that the community help to make krikzz OS better...

Well, since Im on V2 your OS is better than Krikzz last v2.14 so I very much appreciate your contribution, especially since OS development seems really slow.

But it would be nice if development could be unified since most people like having extra features.

What is the featureset of the x7 OS?

How does this compare to the featureset of v2.12.8

Pity the controller pak menu didn't have a "Copy to SD" instead of just copy to another controller.

An ellipsis at the end of a sentence usually denotes a pausing/trailing thought or uncertainty.
An ellipsis in the middle of a sentence and usually surrounded by [] means an omission was made.

In Maths an ellipsis denotes a sequence of omission where if the … is at the end then the sequence continues indefinitely.

etcetera is usually always denoted as etc.

Anyway, I was supposed to report no problems found... except maybe that it seems I can no longer use the MCM in GoldenEye...?
I tried loading the official OS and it had the same issue... but this is the first time Ive noticed it.
Ill backtrack though and see when it starts.

It works fine. I was pressing wrong buttons

You Know, with things seemingly slow round here, I only glanced at the N64 page for updates and missed this.
Do you have a changelog you could post? Whoops, Im blind

As far as I know, Pressing the reset button or holding it makes no difference - The N64 gets a reset call and starts the reset procedure the moment the button hits the bottom of travel. the button is just like pressing start in Goldeneye, press or hold the watch still comes up.

Mission 1 part 1 (and many other missions) will take > 10secs to load due to the number of objects, rooms and textures loading, there is no "fix" for this nor will there be. TWINE took 10 secs to load a mission.
What I would like to do is add a loading screen rather than leave it black.

Mission 1 part 1 is dark because its night time. again, there is no direct "fix" for this, however there will be some alterations based on feedback to increase the view distance (using lights and adding a moon)

I do not consider this to be unplayable, and many people have indeed played it to the end (including myself during testing 2017)

Gameshark with GoldenEye also doesn't work in your version. It crashes GE before anything is on screen.

I have to boot krikzz os to get GS working

to which I might add, upon plugging in a controller into port 1 the scrolling stops immediately.

EverDrive 64 / Re: Is there a Controller pak manager tool?
« on: November 01, 2018, 08:55 PM »
Ideally I would love such a tool to be part of the OS and accessible as a "virtual folder" in the root menu revealing a folder-like structure of the game notes with the ability to transfer notes to other mpk virtual folders.

...and will remain so for the time being so don't hold your breath :P

Any updates (I have a 1.1 and 2.0 list including unfinished things by myself, Sogun and MrKane) will be in the far future once the dust settles.

Banjo-Dreamy works fine on EDv2 PAL.

The first 3 levels are quite a challenge and I initially thought it was broken, however it is possible to learn your attack and jumps to proceed with the rest of the game, just takes some rat-a-tatting in place of wings to unlock wings.

Regarding the update, what is it? Are we nearing a new release of the game?
Oh no, nothing like that yet, it was just another Head I did.

Kerr, why do you keep posting "PM Sent"? People requesting PMs should know when they get one, you don't need to fill the forum with "PM Sent" messages :P

Anyway, another little update done to GF :)

EverDrive 64 / Re: General questions about Everdrives
« on: December 03, 2017, 12:37 AM »
The CIC is the lockout chip, the NTSC/PAL switch on the Everdrive 64 is what switches between these. DSP is a sound chip, are you asking for the NES or something? I think some games required an additional processor on the board but I'm not that familiar.

Depends on the rom patch, a lot of current Goldeneye and Super Mario 64 patches are not hardware compatible.

All GoldenEye/Perfect Dark mods made via PerfectGold will work on console. Unlike Mario tools, PerfectGold was designed for console first operation.
