Mega SD supports it just fine, even the enhanced CD soundtrack.

I cannot successfully dump it using my Retrode 2 either :(  I have the NTSC collector's edition cart

I didn't think there was a rom dump of Pier Solar for the Mega EverDrive X7? Usually with new releases there isn't a digital dump available on Internet and if that's the case then the only way is to buy a physical single copy but if the shop's closed or not responding then it's sadly a lost cause.
All three revs are available online. Just look around

I agree completely. This game is no longer purchasable (Watermelon store has been non functional for ages) and should therefore be supported by the Mega Everdrive. Krikzz, please add this. Thanks

SD2SNES / Re: Firmware v1.10.3 are out.

This new firmware seems broken again :( SA1 games works again but Super Mario Kart don't wants to launch on my SD2SNES MKII now :( Anybody with the same issue?
You have to have the bios files installed on your SD card

SD2SNES / Re: Game select menu
« on: April 07, 2019, 04:27 AM »
Hi all,

I'm using a rev H SD2SNES with firmware 1.10.1 and just noticed something odd (I think). Perhaps I am remembering wrong but when you click to select your game wasn't there a pop-up window which allows entering cheat codes, per-game options, etc? I'm not see it anymore. It just goes straight into the game. I cleared the config and tested again. Same issue. Is this a bug?

Thanks,
mario64
is super everdrive feature not sd2snes as of yet
Ok thank you. I’m getting old and confusing my flash carts  :)

SD2SNES / Re: Waiting to buy SD2SNES Pro???

Why do you recommend waiting 6 months to buy the sd2snes pro?
Never purchase the first generation and/or production run of any tech product.

SD2SNES / Re: When is next official firmware going to be released?
« on: November 30, 2018, 08:43 PM »
The latest official sd2snes firmware has FX chip support (Star Fox, Yoshi’s Island, etc), but it lacks the other recent improvements floating around in unofficial firmwares: SA-1 (Super Mario RPG, etc), SDD1 (Street Fighter Alpha, etc), and save states.  What is preventing these improvements from being merged in to the official firmware?
I wouldn’t expect it anytime soon. Perhaps in a year. Perhaps never

Mega EverDrive / Re: CD RAM cart issue

Mega Drives don't reset the same way Snes do.

I meant the battery inside your Everdrive. Check it.
Can't thank you enough Marteicos! I replaced the Mega Everdrive's internal battery and so far it's working. It would be nice if the user manual made it clear that this functionality is tied to the internal battery. Thank you again for the help  :)

Oh ok. Thanks I'll do that

Never used it on mine tbh, but maybe it's similar to my SD2SNES when saving a game using SRAM for data or a MSU game. Long Reset before power off and wait for it hopping back into flash cart menu. Maybe this is the trick needed here too...
I have tried reset afterward. No luck. Still doesn’t keep the RAM cart after power off

The ram cart feature should work like a save of any game, unless your battery is dead.

Are other games saving fine? Make a backup of your current saves folder and test a game, preferably Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

Try to format the simulated ram cart inside Sega CD bios.
Thanks Marteicos. Saves to CDX internal battery work fine. I have formatted the everdrive RAM cart multiple times. It works fine until I power off the console. As soon as it's powered off the RAM cart is lost. Can you confirm the specific file I should be seeing in the saves folder for the RAM cart?

Mega EverDrive / CD RAM cart issue
« on: November 11, 2018, 01:06 AM »
Need some help please. I have a Mega Everdrive X7 in use with a Sega CDX. The problem is with the RAM backup feature. For example, when I first load Shining Force CD it tells me the backup RAM needs to be formatted. I do this then the game loads fine. I press the reset button to "save" the RAM cart but it never works. Every single time I power up the CDX and play Shining Force I have to format the RAM backup cart again. What's the trick to getting the format to stick after power down?

SD2SNES / Re: sa1 support [work in progress]
« on: October 29, 2018, 06:50 PM »
He cant, hes referring to ROMs of SFA2 that have been patched to run on emulators, such as Canoe on the Snes Classic Mini. Theres no such patch for it for work on a real SNES via SD2SNES.

Ergo, we still need SDD1 support.
Exactly. I don't even know why he comes in and continues to beat this dead horse, as we've explained this to him numerous times.

Since Redguy is done with SA-1, can we lock this thread please?
Is it confirmed Redguy is done with SA-1? Haven’t seen that posted anywhere
