EverDrive N8 / Any way to run bigger ROM files?
« on: March 30, 2019, 07:05 AM »
So I finally ad a chance to try out my Everdrive N8 today. Loaded up the SD card and started it up. Then I got Error A5 on every game I tried... Seems the limit for games is only 512KB? Wish I knew it before I ordered! I mainly use flash carts to run hacks/homebrews, and all the games I was excited to try out were 1-2MB large. What is the reason behind this, and is there any future plans to improve upon this?

I own 6 Everdrives at this point, and this is the only time I have been sincerely disappointed in one's functionality. Looking forward to your replies.

FXPAK (SD2SNES) / Universal Shell for SD2SNES
« on: June 15, 2018, 10:54 PM »
So I recently came back from Japan and brought a couple of Super Famicom's back with me. While I do love the SNES, I absolutely hate the console's design, and prefer the SFC design as well as the controller. The only problem I have is my SD2SNES came in a North American shell, but I want to use it with my SFC. So does anyone know of a place I can get a universal shell for the the board, one that already has the slot for the SD card drilled out and the LED lights insert up top? I'd even be happy if I could get an SFC shell.

Help would be appreciated.

EverDrive GB / Super GameBoy utilization?
« on: October 01, 2015, 03:27 AM »
Hi everyone,

My question may be a dumb one, but hear it goes.

I was recently playing through Pokemon Brown on my GBA. However, the colors were the "hard on the eyes" red/green thing. I noticed every video online of the game has the full color pallet. I learned that this is due to them playing on an emulator with "Super Gameboy mode" selected. So my question is this: Is there any possible way to get the ROM to run as if it was on a Super Gameboy on the Everdrive GB while playing on a GBC or GBA? I'm guessing the answer is no, as that is more in line with emulating a system, but if there is a way I would love to know.

Thanks for the help.

EverDrive GB / Nothing Happening Upon Bootup
« on: December 07, 2014, 02:55 AM »
Hi all,

I would first like to say I am a longtime Krikzz fan, owning 5 flash carts using boards made by him, and plan on hopefully buying more in the future.

My problem is this: I just got my brand new Everdrive GB in the mail the other day, I excitedly formatted a new MicroSD card with a few ROMs, and put it inside the car. As I turned on my GBA, all I got was the opening GameBoy logo with the Nintendo logo blacked out. Nothing else after that. I've tried my 2 GBA's, my GBASP, and my two GBC's. Same result on all systems. Tried to load the cart with no SD card inserted, same result.

Help would be greatly appreciated!
