I have a working version of the rom on my everdrive. Someone gave me the rom and I tried everything to make it work. Finally someone told me to “unbyteswap” it, then it worked. I’m not sure if I can simply upload the rom, but if anyone would like me to try, I’m happy to do so

Edit: I’m pretty certain it will work, I uploaded it for someone a while ago and he didn’t say it didn’t work. 🤟

I am just now learning about the Game Boy emulator on the Everdrive, that's awesome!!

I tried setting it up exactly like supersign said to. But I keep getting an error, reading:

"CRITICAL ERROR
Could not load BG!

PRESS Z TO REBOOT
PRESS Cr TO TAKE SCREENSHOT"

What should I do to go about fixing this? Thank you in advance

For whatever reason, I don’t have any text files in my ED64 folder. My other save files work fine without it though.. I don’t know what to do. Thank you for your help

Just use a GoldenEye save file. It is compatible.

It didn’t work for me. I renamed the save file the same name as the Goldfinger rom too. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

AWWWW HECK YEAH GONNA PLAY RIGHT NOW! I'll post an update of how they work and how cool it is

Update:

After playing all 3 versions of the prototype or whatever, as far as I can tell, only the 2nd one (DH64-2) has enemies to combat. It seems pretty cool. It's a shame they didn't finish it.

Yeah, sorry, its still classified.

Being classified its dificult to make news about it, that said, questioning its progress at least allows us to give an answer.

Ive had car problems lately and had to put GF off a little, but the Team is still working on it.

I was in the middle of re-doing the guns to make better use of lighting. Ive also been doing other lighting tests comparing resource useage to maximise quality and performance.

I cant comment any more than that.

EverDrive 64 / Buttons Not Very Responsive *SOLVED*

So there is a slight delay when I push buttons. I'll push A, and it'll take like 1/4th of a second for it to register. I tried formatting the SD card, but that didn't help. I switched controllers too. So would this be a problem with the everdrive, console, or my thinking was possibly the expansion pack. Bad ram. I don't want to spend money before I know what needs to be replaced. Any help would be appreciated.

IT WAS THE EXPANSION PACK (BAD RAM) I SUBSTITUTED A JUMPER PACK I HAD LYING AROUND AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY NOW

Goldfinger 64 Progress is Classified... ;) 8)

Just be content in the knowlage we are working very hard on the project.

We dont want to release some hashed botch job. We are gunning for a real Quality Game, personally Im looking to out do even PD in some respects (Obviously lighting and other enhancements in PD wont be added, thats impossible... prahaps you could request a GoldfingerX in the near future, that really would be awsome)

P.S. Taking FrameBuffer Captures would be awsome, dont think its possible though.
If it were it would need some button combi... possible a button combi and press reset (to save to SD)

Talking of button combis... is it possible to make a combi that resets the N64?
e.g.
L+R+Start re-callibrates the stick
Start at boot loads mempak

so, how about L+R+A+B = reset?

So not to be impatient or anything. But this was the last update I've had on Goldfinger. I was just wondering if there's any new news?   :o
