I would prob do Raspberry Pi over Ouya just because Im cheap. Oh course I got Retron on its way and paid same price at the Ouya. Last I remember the Ouya was $99 anyways.
N64 is the only everdrive I have no way I will ever use a n64 emulator again.

Update: Got the system. cant get any cheats to work and Zelda nes is freezing at times. If you cant even play one of the most popular games then that is pretty bad. Hope they fix that.

Wii emulation is good but I have one of the newer models so cant hook up a controller. Wireless only and that thing can drive me nuts.Feel like a leech next to me while using classic wii controller. Done a lot of rom injection also. I use my ps3 for emulation mainly because I love the controller.
Retron 5 will solve my small issues and will be hacked for roms. I would bet my soul on it(I dont believe in souls anyways).

Ive got a xbox all pimped out including coinOps but its still not hdmi and Im not a huge fan of the controllers. Still it is very cool with all the extras like video previews, box art, manuals, guides, ect.
Looks like Im getting my Retron 5 on Monday now. Stupid FedEx lol. Reason why Im excited for Retron 5 is not what it has just now but what it to come. The hacking community Im sure will do all kinds of cool things with it.

I got a LG HD tv maybe 6 years ago.All I really know about it. I would guess yes sense Ive not had an issue with pal games expect one Duke Nuken Zero and for that I just got the U version. I havnt really played much pal games though so Ide have to test that.

I cant wait the non demo version of this! I dont know how he does it but its amazing and must be a ton of work.

That is true. I still cant wait it and for it to be hacked. If you got a flash cart it would still be cool just another added feature but it would be a waste of your flash cart you spent good money on. The whole point is to not use emulation.

Still nice to know they are actually updating the fw.

Now they just need to ship my Retron 5 hopefully before my 80th birthday.

Wanted to share this hack that Ive prepatched. Found out about this at http://micro-64.com/index.shtml
His readme said to patch the US rom and I couldnt get it to work so I tried E and sure enough it worked. Ive tested and played a few minutes on my Everdrive. Finally a Oot hack that works on ED64!! Although its a demo Im assuming hes working on a non demo version.
If there is any other please let us know. Big thanks to Petrie!
Enjoy  :)

EverDrive 64 / Re: New to everdrive, Gamersection.ca Review

It just makes sense to get it directly from the source.
Only thing is if you on the other side of the earth it will take some time but who cares. Got plenty of games to play till then.

June 6th but man are they confusing and never give a straight answer. Its like watching a David Lynch movie.

The good news is they have began work to support flashcarts.

I thought the same thing but for them to change it at the last minute is just bad marketing. I know they arent Sony but still. Getting mine for $99 shipped with Prime so I lucked out. Dont think Amazon can change that after you pay for the preorder. It did make a lot of other people angry probably wishing they preordered. You dont see companies do things like that so was unexpected.

Ya lots of hate. Ive bought games and controllers so Im not backing out yet. I dont have any of those systems anymore and hdmi is a plus.
I already did my $99 preorder so I might as well get it is my thinking right now.

Not yet is correct. It runs the rom from the cart and stores it I would think in a temp internal storage. The game is never ran directly from the cart. We can use SD but only for cheats and saves as of now.
Most of us dont have one yet so hard to tell anything really for a while. Not to mention they seem to avoid many questions. I do know the OS will be open source...at least that is what they said. Sense it is using some kind of android OS I believe Im sure there will be lots of hackers interested in that.
Still got mine on preorder for $99 on Amazon but now I hear they are raising the price to $140 or so. On there Facebook there is a photo that says June 6th but not explained if that is for Amazon orders or what. They like to play mind games. Who knows but they cant hold it off forever.
