Someone would have to inject the Spanish text into the rom with the changes, not as easy as applying one patch on top of the other. I had been wanting to create a patch with the official Spanish translation text originally distributed as a companion book, but with work and the COVID-19 pandemic going on, that's not likely to happen anytime soon.

Also, hey krikzz, if you have some way to implement these patches into the OS itself, that would be awesome!

That's more a job for the original rom hack author, really you should be reaching out to them...

Just don't want my flash cartridge leaving my N64 and if I buy this crazy expensive port no one knows is 100% finished, then I try to digitize it I am going to break things besides the bank

What on Earth are you talking about? I've played through both the NTSC and PAL roms for Piko before the carts were released, the game is complete.

Jokes on you i want the rom not the actual cart. You must work for piko. Nice troll attempt though instead of contributing to the conversation or just ignoring my post and or thread altogether.

Your question was just vague enough to have some fun, you didn't actually say rom. ;D

I was involved with the play testing before release, so you're not technically wrong. Pretty sure someone at Piko watches these forums as well.

Any updates on where to possibly find this in a ntsc-u format? The actual game not the beta pal version.

Yeah, you can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/y5qvsds2

Well, the main focus of this forum is running roms on physical N64 hardware using the Everdrive 64... probably not likely to get Wii-U support.

That said, the patches here should work on any accurate N64 emulator.

Hmm? I didn't think the OoT font had an Æ, that screenshot looks like an Á to me but that should have only been in MM and I didn't think Ozidual's patch had the expanded font patch on his set.

It's been a while since I've looked at my OoT patches, the original font doesn't actually have a distinction between uppercase Î and lowercase î. That was something they actually added in MM (and what we added with the expanded font patch).

Thats clever so if i understand well you need to have a ultra CIC to be able to boot alekDD and 64DD games on the everdrive/flashcarts ?
Older version like 2.5 will not be able to boot these kind if games ?
Im just curious :$

No, you can boot them on Everdrive but if you try to make a stand alone cart you won't have a compatible chip.

9
OoT will not be able to save when you inject it in the MM emulator for Gamecube, they're not compatible.

10
These patches won't run correctly when re-injected on the gamecube disc.

Code, like for programming an UltraCIC chip? That's not likely to happen, since the reason they're used for these conversions is specifically to prevent repo carts.

They run on flashcarts so there's not really a reason to have it...

So far I've found Sanni's cart reader to be the most useful since it can rescue dead Gamesharks and reprogram the cheap repo carts.

Are you looking more for dumping the save files for nostalgia or are they really obscure games that you can't find a rom of?

Hmm, this format looks familiar.

Yep, I'm pretty sure I've seen highlighting in green, orange, and red since the 90's.

The final roms were compiled from the source code with the required changes to compress the new logo, etc.

It shows a letter L on the display and I'm not sure what that means, most of the time its a number 8.

If it's bricked you can't flash it with the parallel port, the only ways to reflash them currently is to stack it with a second working Gameshark, remove the flash chips and flash it manually with a programmer, or use Sanni's cart reader to reflash it (experimental). If it was switched to another key code the last time it was booted, it needs a retail cart with the matching CIC chip to boot it.

Do you think you can fix a stock 3.3 using the stack method with a working 3.2 updated to 3.3?  I know you cant flash the 3.3 since the port doesnt work but maybe a 3.2 uodated to 3.3 could

Yes, that will work.

Can you tell if this video on youtube is ntsc?  https://youtu.be/k3vov0tnUio

Well no way to know for sure, but it is playing at proper speed I think for whatever system its being played on, so the videos dont' seem to be playing at super speed with 'chipmunk' voices.

That appears to be the NTSC Piko rom running on an ultrahdmi modded console at the correct speed. The NTSC rom will have the round "A" button icon in the main menu on the bottom right. Reddit confirmed the actual NTSC rom is not included in whatever bundle Stoneage has for sale. I can't see Eli giving someone permission to use the final roms for distribution on anything other than the carts he sells.
