I'm sorry, but this is wrong. The EDN8 Does indeed support save states, but only in for games using certain mappers, and only if you have the right firmware...

Great stuff. Thanks for making my Great SD2SNES even better I have only seen minor slowdowns in some SA-1 roms on my SD2SNES. I'm plaiyng on an imported Japanese SFC. PM if you want me to test or report.

maybe 1.5 causing issues with certain snes revisions?

It is possible. May be even it happend only with some combinations of console and cartridge

On the 6th of May, Ikari said on his blog (http://sd2snes.de/blog/) that he expected to release a bug fix / minor release in a few weeks. Any inside info on when that will be available?

I found that you can browse with the cart in the NES, and select a txt file to load cheats from.

That's all I know, and I would love a more thorough explanation.

What txt file format, what code format, what kind of codes, code delimiting, etc.

I just got mine too Just added the OSv6 files to my SD card, loaded up with my rom images, then I had to press reset a few times to set the correct region...
