No, I am not the seller. But I have just bought a XenoGc modded GameCube and the mini dvd's cost a lot more than full size DVD, no doubt the price of Verbatim mini DVd's will increase, they are getter harder to find!  So, when I spotted this full size DVD tray case I thought I would share with other GC fans.

But for the retro purist a Wii is not a Gamecubes!

That's all.

Off Topic / GAMECUBE ROMS - iMac writer?
« on: May 18, 2016, 07:56 PM »
Hi, Has  anybody found a good Imgburn equivalent for the iMac? Apparently Imgburn is for Windows and won't work on Mac.

As usual, I am very grateful for the guidance provided, many thanks.

Hi, here I am again, picking brains  :)
My grandson and I have an R4 card which is great with our DS.
But, will our Nintendo DS R4 card play Gameboy Advance ROMS on the DS?

Thanks in advance

These are some of the best modded boys I have ever seen, Joel loves X-boxes and you can be sure that the job will be done properly!

My grandson (6yo) and I are building up a collection of retro consoles, all but one have Krikzz Everdrives or have been modded. Finally the last one has just been completed - an original X-Box!
If you have an Xbox sat there doing nothing consider this:-

I looked online and found a guy in the UK, it took about three days! He is a young guy with bags of experience, has a fantastic attitude, does a superb job and the price included postage.  Believe me, whatever you want doing he CAN do it! We now have a 750gb (not to as originally stated  :-[)  HDD, new bios and an amazing media/emulator system in our collection.

Thanks, sorted the PSX, as suggested I deleted .cue file.  The ones that are a real pain to get working are JAGUAR, MSX, NEOGEO AND MAME....  ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

SOLVED: Many thanks Goombakid, you saved me tons of trial and error.
Any other ROMS that might be tricky to put on Raspberry pi?
The MD, N64, PC Engine have been straightforward.

Any Emulation experts here??

Hi, although I (and my Grandson) have ten retro consoles, we are messing about with a his RP3 and Emulation Staion. But, the problem is that if we make a ROM folder, say' R-Types' and put both the bin. and .cue files in it we then get it showing up as 2 games in the selection menu and 2 R-Type game headings are shown?  How can this be avoided?

Yes. Having converted/up scaled RGB to an amazing picture quality (for use on HDMI TV) I bought an fantastic WEGA CRT TV and thought that (maybe) by using an eBay HDMI to SCART adaptor box I could retain the picture quality but pipe it along a SCART connection for the WEGA.

You have to try and push the boundaries don't you 😁

Hi, yes it does but I was trying to get the HD quality that I enjoyed on the LED TV (via the SCART to HDMI box) onto the CRT TV.

Hi, as I said in my previous post, I have just bought a 32' Sony WEGA.
It is amazing for retro consoles, so stable!!
But, after getting used to a picture from feeding my console RGB SCART lead from my retro consoles into a ' SCART to HDMI' converter the Sony picture looks poor.

So, In order to remedy this I have just bought a 'SCART to HDMI converter off eBay - still with me 😱

In an effort to get a better picture on the Sony CRT I will put the console RGB SCART output through the  SCART to HDMI box (as before) then put the HDMI output from that into the new HDMI to SCART converter......who knows, it might even work?  😤
