i have a v2 ED64 and i am not disappointed. i am not willilng to pay extra 50$ for not pressing reset button before powering off the N64 (it looks like it will be the only benefit for end user) and even if i was willing, i could easily sell my v2 for the price i bought and then buy a new v3 ED64.

it is always great to see krikzz trying to perfect his everdrives. some revisions benefit users a lot, some less, but still there is always advancement.

no offence, but there isn't enough playable games on gba to fill 2 gb. it is just an OCD to want all games in one sd card.

What do you mean by "playable"? If you mean "worth playing" that really depends on the person. The way I use my flash carts, I want to be able to put all the official releases and the hacks and translations on there. I can tell you how many times I have watched classic game room and thought, "that's a cool game" and then went immediately to the living room and pulled up the game.

yeah i meant worth playing. i too want to put all released stuff to a card, but i accept it is some kinde of OCD.

I played Shantae briefly, and it seemed to work just fine.

Don't know about Game Genie, I haven't tried that with anything yet, I haven't really been into cheat codes since I was a kid.

Shantae or Harvest Moon maybe?

Neither of those games use the RTC.

are you Asaki who made using gbc and sgb colors on goomba possible? if so, thanks a lot.

i am just in the process of turning super gameboy magazine palette codes to .pal files. you did some in the past, i will do the rest i hope.

.gb, .gbc difference is for software only i guess and to avoid confusion. no real effect on any emulators/hardware etc afaik.

i am using composite for my av famicom, rgb scart for my ps1, snes, sega mega drive and N64 (rgb modded), vga for dreamcast, component for gamecube, xbox original, ps2 and wii. all cables are official except for dreamcast. official snes rgb scart cables can be used for N64.

never buy a so called non-sdhc mini sd card from ebay. it won't work.

if someone finds a reliable source for topram mini sd 4 gb non-sdhc card, please share with us.

my EMS 64 mb usb gb cartridged arrived preloaded with a homebrew game so you could test it right away. it would be good if everdrive gb did the same.

there is still process on this... but i takes time to get it more reliable.
even the original implementation seems to double check connections power state etc... ^^
just dumped a rom over usb today, which is working on an emulator

as pointed out here, some lcd/led tvs have problem accepting 240p input from component which sega mega drive and snes outputs.

if that cable feeds 240p directly (which is the most possible case) some tvs will have problem decoding it, if the cable upscales it to 480p all tvs will be compatible but it will degrade picture quality.

if my crt and lcd tvs didn't have rgb and i lived out of europe, i would still buy the rgb scart cables and use a converter. a cheap rgb scart to component converter if my tv supported 240p over component or an expensive hdmi one if it did not.

Is that a ntsc tv or pal?

PAL, though as most PAL TVs my Sony CRT can perfectly show PAL60 and NTSC60.
