I prefer new version of actual Everdrive

for example a faster Master Everdrive or all everdrive with custom shells

Master EverDrive / Re: new master everdrive OS
« on: August 23, 2013, 05:57 PM »
If is necesary a new Master Everdrive. I´ll buy it  :D

You still need an emulator to load a GB game, and people with an Everdrive are mostly interested in playing roms on their native hardware. But that mounting of GB/GBC roms to simulate a cartridge in transfer pak sounds interesting if it's possible to do with this pifing business or so.

GNUBOY64 is a port of the x86 GB and GBC EMU to the N64. It supports save states, full speed GB emulation, and more. Please see the list of features for more information.

Supports Neo Myth64 flashcart (You can implement more drivers if you like. All are set already...just add the missing bits)
    Opensource :
GB & GBC support (except 8MB games , but if you plan to add driver for other flashcarts that have extended r/w RAM you
can implement the (already integrated) extended ram mode)
Automatic SRAM + RTC backup/restore (Stored in /gnuboy/saves/)
Save states (up to 999) (Stored in /gnuboy/saves/)
Ability to take screenshots (Stored in /gnuboy/screenshots/)
    Dual immediate rendering modes : 256x240 1xscale , 512x480 2xscale
Support for multiple FS drivers & wrappers

what do you mean in 'needs to load'?

Play the game

Case 1
1- Put the GB/C cartridge on Transfer Pak
2- Press Z
3- Select "Load cartridge"
4- Play the game

Case 2
1- Put the GB/C cartridge on Transfer Pak
2- Press Z
3- Select "Load a  GB/C rom" (if Everdrive GB exist)
4- Play the game

Case 3
1- Put the GB/C cartridge on Transfer Pak
2- Press Z
3- Select "Mount a  GB/C rom" (if Everdrive GB exist)
4- Select a N64 rom (ex. Mario Tennis)
5- Play the game

9. Transfer pak support

ED64 needs to load GB/C cartridges via Transfer Pak.
Also It could be mount roms from (future) Everboy and then loads a N64 rom compatible with it. For example Mario Tennis, Pokemon Stadium, etc

Nice label but if you try to make a "Pulse line". It needs to match with the colour of cartridges

This rule was for all Famicom with pulse line. Except for Devil World  ???

dvd2vcd may not have N64 cartridges but I have them for over 10 years and I would like to hold them until the day I die

Usually after I clear a game I delete the save and start all over.

 :o :(

The saves files represents the time we spend with the game. The worst thing that can happen is losing that saved data.

unfortunately in N64, the memory is stored in the same game cartridge. Not like PSX and memory cards
