Is it Fake???

Project PlayStation Input Output has been trying to load PlayStation 1 game images through the game system's parallel I/O port since 2010, and now it's ready to show off the first prototype. If piracy is your aim, then modchips that let users play burned discs and emulators that have been available through the console's 19-year history should suffice, but this project aims to bypass those methods. The potential benefits include easier homebrew support and playing of ripped discs on the original hardware without worrying about wearing out an aging console's laser. Eventually the team wants to load games and saves from an SD card, but in this demo video it's playing Klonoa: Door to Phantomile from an attached PC. As seen in the nearly ten minute video it does work, albeit slowly. As the video notes, optimizations for the USB controller and CD sectors that should speed things up have not been implemented yet. According to its FAQ, the PSIO team aims to have a final version done this year.

If you build a 72-60 pins adapter, you´ll  be god.
Those are already available pretty affordably, as they don't require any components whatsoever.

You're right, but in my country are hard to get and are not "new"  :-\

Some of the extra pins is used by the CIC lockout chip.
You want it to use extra pins for extra features exclusive to the NES version? Wouldn't that disappoint Famicom users?
Those extra pins can not help to implement any extra functions, and nes carts does not have any extra function compare to famicom. So,magnus87, why it should be connected? Just to be connected because they exist?

There may be no games that use these extra pins. But could be games / accessories homebrew that if the advantage of these

It could be a new era for those who want to get more juice to the console

no

So N8-NES Its a N8-Famicom with adapter included and SD slot on a big board, nothing special  :-\

It is the NES version of the Everdrive N8 and was never advertised as anything else. What were you expecting anyway? A brand new NES flash cart not even 3 month after the release of the Everdrive N8? ::)

But it could have been a version "1.5". The same EverDrive with some extras (pins).

I'm not saying they should be functional but at least have the circuit assembly, so in the future implement by software

I love the work you did Krikzz with all everdrive series
I have the 60-72 pin adapter. But expected more for the NES version. For that reason, do not buy the version of Famicom

Excelent Work ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Any new feature or update or fix respect of the Famicom version?

Is this a version 1.5 of the N8 or the same 1.0?
Both carts uses same software(os and mappers) and their hardware also is same. i will make lots of update for N8

So Everdrive does not use the extra pins that have the NES?
