EverDrive GBA / Re: Ordering EverDrive-GBA X5 from krikzz.com

I'm in Australia and have ordered 5 Everdrives now. Each time it's taken 3-4 weeks. From what I've read from others who live in other countries, it's taken around the same length of time.

I can't wait that long. Think I'll just skip it as I can get a ez flash iv tomorrow for only £20

Thanks for the reply.

EverDrive GB / Re: I just bought a Everdrive GB-X7 , but....

The Rev.B is related to the problem of Game Boy Pocket only.
And only some Game Boy Pockets are affected.
As long as you don't care about Game Boy Pockets then it's definitely ok.

That makes me feel better.  I was going to send it back, but I doubt I would ever use a GBP.  So if it's no different then rev b other then that then I'll just keep it and be happy.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Cheers  :)

I won’t be using a gameboy pocket anytime soon. So Rev A is ok then.

Thanks

When I opened it was X7 Rev A?  I thought I would get a Rev B.  Should I be worried that it's a older rev?  I paid £129 for it.  Is there a big difference from Rev A to Rev B?

I use it on my GBASP and my Super Gameboy 2 on my Super NT.

Thanks

It works fine, but I prefer this one:  http://db-electronics.ca/product/dbgrafx-booster-ttp/

It's a bit more expensive and requires a Genesis 2 RGB SCART cable (with the proper caps in the SCART head), but has more options.

I prefer the first one.  fidde_se has been making those rgb cables for a while now.  He's well known for his amazing cable.

The grafx booster is hard to find and while it has more options, you can get any of those cables on eBay for cheap.

Would love to see PCE-CD added to turbo everdrive  Also a Neo Geo Everdrive would be sweet as well.  When are these coming?

There's already a Neo Geo flashcart in the works, but the price is like 400 us dollars.

I know this.  That's why I asked when do these release?

EverDrive N8 / Re: Compatibility with RetroUSB's AVS??
« on: October 01, 2016, 02:58 PM »
I just received my AVS console and trying to play Castlevania 3. I can't seem to save on the everdrive n8?  Other games seem fine, but not that one?

I updated the AVS firmware too and it's still the same?  Is this a known issue?

Thanks
According to krikzz's compatibility listing on the Everdrive n8 product page, MMC5 and VRC6 do not have save state support, which are the boards used in Castlevania III, depending which region you were playing

Maybe it's possible that these could be added in a future Everdrive update, but the mappers are more complex so maybe not..

I hope to see atleast this game fixed in a future update?  Cheers for the info
