Are you using an original Nes or a clone system?
Original NES.

Are you playing the original fds rom? There a lot of rips of bad pirated cart versions...
Have you tried ''no intro'' set?
I'm using the no intro FDS ROM.

Can you post a photo of the glitch? I have an hard time imaging it.
I don't have anything to take a decent picture of it but I could easily Photoshop an image to show it.
Basically when you move right the text is meant to stay as it is and the background scrolls but here the text is scrolling with the background so you can't see it.

Edit: Added a photoshop image to show what I mean

EverDrive N8 / Graphic glitch

I received my EverDrive N8 today and really like it. I did find a bug however, in the Japanese Super Mario Bros 2 the top information text with the score etc stays in one place like if it was part of the background and then appears again later but still stays. It is meant to stay in the middle of the screen and stay in place with Mario. That same thing happened with a Castlevania hack.
Any idea what's happening? I tired turning on and off the save state feature just incase that changed anything which it doesn't.

I have plans to try make x7 in regular size. But it will not happens in nearest future.
What new features do you plan for X7 to have?

I can't seem to get Pokémon Sweets or the second Sweets games to load at all. Any advice? I've tried the header thing.

EverDrive N8 / More Mappers in the future?
« on: September 09, 2017, 02:33 PM »
Is there any plans for more mappers to be supported as some games still are not supported like the infamous Action 52 and Cheetahmen 2? I was wondering as the EverDrive N8 seems a great cart but it would be near perfect if it had better compatibility.

EverDrive 64 / Translations and Hacks Advice
« on: September 07, 2017, 09:58 PM »
I recently got the EverDrive 64 V3 and was wondering if you guys could recommend some Translations and ROM Hacks that are worth playing and will work on the EverDrive.

So far I have Animal Forest English Translation, F Zero X Climax, SMB Tournament Edition and a couple of Banjo Kazooie hacks.

More Banjo Kazooie hacks and other translations and hacks would be appreciated.

Mega EverDrive / Which Mega EverDrive to buy
« on: August 28, 2017, 01:22 PM »
Hi there,
I am interested in getting a Mega EverDrive but I'm unsure which version is best for me. I've seen the comparison chart but I don't understand everything it mentions as I'm not knowledgeable on how the Mega Drive games and systems work. I want to play games like Castlevania Bloodlines, Contra, Micheal Jacksons Moonwalker and Sonic etc. I want access to cheats. I've heard that the Mega EverDrive can play Master System games too which I would like to try out too.

Any help or advice on which is best for me and the main differences in a practical aspect would be handy. For example, general specs don't matter I just want to know what I can and can't do.

Many thanks

EverDrive 64 / Re: Animal Forest and NES Emulator

i can speak to the NES emulator's performance:
it is pretty good overall, its not full speed in every game or every part of the games and some games just do not work. but if you MUST play NES games on your N64, go for it.

let me know if you have any trouble with it.
Thank you. That's very good to know. I'll keep it in mind.
As an added note, only go for Animal Forest if you don't have access to the Gamecube version or you want the novelty of playing the N64 version. What I've learned in playing the N64 version is that the Gamecube version is so much better and because of that I've gotten back into AC on the Gamecube. Just know going in that Animal Forest is more limited.
So I can't speak for the NES emulator but the Animal Forest ROM + English patch worked super smooth, played an hour with no crashing or slowing down.
That's fantastic thank you. I want to play for novelty reasons.

That sounds the most likely. Would you mind trying it? I don't have the EverDrive 64 yet as this is one of the things I wanted to know before buying one. Many thanks.

EverDrive 64 / Animal Forest and NES Emulator

I'm thinking about getting the EverDrive 64 V3 but was wondering how well Animal Forest English Translation runs etc. I ask as many emulators hate running it well so wanted to know if EverDrive can handle it.

Also how good is the NES emulator? Is it full speed and can it run Action 52 and Cheetahmen 2?

Many thanks.

This sounds fantastic. I think I'll be getting the X7.
Are there plans for new Everdrives for NES, SNES or N64?

I would use Goomba 2014 and then save in game and press l and r then exit before turning of the GBA.
