I didn't know it was by you @gojira54, and I didn't mean to launch a personal attack against you. I see that it's a buffered 7314 or 7374 based amp, which is better than the majority of RGB mods people are doing.

Also Nintendo World Championships loads but does nothing once it is loaded.

You might just have a bad ROM source. GAME1213 tested both the regular No-Intro ROM of Nintendo World Championships 1990, and the Start Hack version and they both work. In the regular ROM, you have to use Player 2's Start button to enter the game.

SmokeMonster - Did all your various PC Engine options all work reliably with the v2.5 card? Highly unlikely as it would seem, just wondered if there could be technical issue with the v2.5 card over v2.4?

The only PCE consoles I've used my new v2.5 with are my two Turbo Expresses (my daily driver TE is 7314 RGB amped) and my Duo-R (7374 amped). I moved to Brazil a year ago and put everything back home into a storage unit for 4 years. Otherwise I'd test it all again for you guys.

I imagine that hundreds (thousands?) of v2.5s have shipped since it went into production over a year ago, and yet there are only a few people having problems, which is the same thing that generally happens every time there is a new TED hardware revision. If there was a catastrophic hardware problem in the v2.5, this forum should have exploded. But it's just a small handful of people having problems.

Could you guys please post pictures of the mod-work inside of your eBay RGB modded consoles?

Krikzz stated that v2 draws less power but I don't know if that means peak or average. Either way, I doubt it's a power issue. I did once hear of a person with a crappy N64 s-video cable that crashed their EverDrive N64. It seemed unbelievable, but they claimed that their crashes completely stopped after getting a nice replacement cable. So maybe it could be an interference thing? You might also have just received a bad TED that needs replacing.

TED works perfectly for most other users, so the vocal minority having problems are the exception to the rule. v2.4 is perfectly stable on every PCE console I own (SuperGrafx, Duo, Duo-R, PCE, a briefcase setup, TurboExpresses, TG16, and my CoreGrafx II/Super CD-ROM2 combo) so it's not a design flaw. Most of those are RGB modded with 7314 and 7374 amps, included the Turbo Express that's my daily driver (yes, it's RGB 7374 amped).

I upgraded to a v2.5 now and haven't tried it on all of my systems yet, but it seems even better than the v2.4 since the v2.5 PCB slides in and out of the HuCard slots more smoothly now.

I would guess that it's not a power issue, since your TED v1 works on it (v1 uses more power than v2).

To those wondering why he (and other devs) distribute test builds in Discord; it's because there are extremely knowledgeable people there ready to do serious testing. That prevents publicly releasing an update that breaks things.

Please do a write-up of your SuperGrafx improvements if you end up doing those. I'm very interested in that and I'm sure others would be too.
