Does anyone have a link to a pre-patched up to date rom or patch of this? The link in the video is dead and all the patched online seems to pre-date it.

This is indeed really impressive. And I'm excited to hear that it might be possible to impliment MegaCD features and NES emulation to the Mega Drive too :)

Krikzz, you should consider making a Patreon for people who want to support your work and development. I would happily tip in a little every month.

Is still don't understand how this button layout came to be. It goes against every gaming instinct I've grown up with.

The PSIO as far as I can understand is really close to being finished. The Beta tester should recieve their boards any time now. I'm still really excited for this. I am just a bit disappointed that it won't just work as a plug'n play solution. And that you will have to ultimately solder/wire some stuff on.

I think it might be a little over my head ^^; Maybe I can send it back to be upgraded at some point.

Also. Will the PAL cartridge even physically fit in either a NTSC or JAP N64? cic or no?

Is this something you can have your old v3 ED64 updated with?

Will Action Replay codes work as well as long as I use them on a PAL rom?

I really love these MSU projects/hacks.
But I'm finding it really confusing as to how I they work since you have to assemble, download, patch, organize and all that stuff before you have a functional folder with everything needed.
Even after reading those readme files, I still seem to screw it up :/

EverDrive GB / Re: Question about Super Gameboy...

There is ONE example of a psudo region locked Gameboy game.
In Space Invaders, there is an option at the beginning where you can choose to either play the standard game OR a Super Game Boy version in 16-bit.
As far as I'm aware, it a small SNES ROM that gets loaded from the cartridge to the SGB.
Problem is. When I tried to do it on my PAL system. It gave me a wrong region message.

Maybe some way of doing Game Genie like modifications to the Hucards?

I'm not an expert or anything, but funny enough I just had a little trip to Sweden last weekend and visited GAME where they had a retro corner with a lot of stuff. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but hey, they are a business and what do I know.
I noticed they were selling some of those EU NES boxes as well. I was actually suprised that so many even existed as most of the ones I've run into over here has just had the standard shape.

7,75Kr is roughly about $1,00.

Me too. Using this setup is the complete opposite of how I'm used to navigate menus. Making it customizable would be great.

Added RTC support would definitely be my most wanted feature. Was a little dissapointed the original EDGB didn't have that but I can understand why it wasn't implemented since 99% of it's use would probably be for Pokémon G/S/C. But hell, I love those games xD and if the ED64 can get it, It would be awesome to see it on the EDGB as well.

Kai666. Man, that takes me back. I used to go to that site pretty often when I first got my Action Replay.. That was over 15 years ago I believe. I had no idea his site was still up and running.

Which makes me think.. These are Action Replay codes. They work on the Xploder and Equalizer as well, I believe. (The site states this on the left side as well) ^^
He is from Denmark just like me, and I once talked on the phone with him a long time ago. Apparently he creates/finds all of the codes himself. If I remember correctly, he told me that Lego Racers (The Only N64 with Danish language) is one of the only games where both Gameshark and Action Replay codes would work. I believe I actually tested that and it seemed to check out.

I'm still wondering if a flash cartridge based solution would work for the Saturn.
I've heard that it's connected directly to the motherboard and should technically be able to run games through the cartridge slot. But I really don't know.
