EverDrive 64 / Choro Q 2 Translated
« on: May 31, 2018, 02:41 AM »
Choro Q 2 has been translated guys :)

great to see that everdrives can be purchases from but could we see everdrives for sale at also?
being from the uk i can never purchase from my card will not checkout. i could not checkout on krikzz store either for some reason and i have to purchase krikzz products from official third party sellers listed on this site but these days third party uk sellers are adding way to much cost to the products.
the ability to purchase official everdrives and other krikzz products from would be great.

EverDrive 64 / Rocket Robot on Wheels (usa) verified good dump
« on: March 28, 2018, 05:43 PM »
does anyone know which rom of rocket robot on wheels (usa) is a verified good dump without gfx corruption in one of the stages?
i remember back in 2000 there were 4 bad dumps made on separate copiers with the same issue, then another dump which was still bad. then there was a patch fix made.
i have downloaded a few sets since then and i'm not sure if i have the proper fixed rom or the verified good dump anymore.
i gather since the old days there have been newer dumps made for no intro sets and so on but it was suspected in 2000 that some of the the initial carts shipped may have been bad and a source of the gfx corruption.
does anybody know of a perfect tried and tested usa rom. a pm with a download link or what crc to look for would be great.

Turbo EverDrive / System 3 new flashcart for cdrom games?
« on: December 08, 2017, 02:57 AM »
has anyone else here heard of this?
stumbled on a forum post pointing to this youtube video maybe it's legit?
says it plays all cdrom games and hucard games and supports ram saves but is kinda expensive.
the idea of playing cd games with no cd drive attached sounds great.
i wonder if a device like this could inspire Krikzz to work on a super deluxe turbo everdrive to compete with this product. maybe undercut it somewhat because 240 euro pricetag seems a little high, that being said i don't know the production costs for such a device.
if the production costs are a lot less than the pricetag then whoever is making it are trying to rake in nice profits because there is no other ODE device out there emulating the pc engine cdrom yet let alone emulating it without the need for any cdrom attachment.

EverDrive GBA / case ideas
« on: August 28, 2016, 06:11 PM »
i was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what to use for a case for the everdrive x5? i mena with the cart being larger than standard games it's not the case of just buying a cheap used game and using the case.
i'm wondering if there are any other cases out there which are suitable.

EverDrive N8 / download wonderland dizzy
« on: October 25, 2015, 05:09 PM »
if anyone does not know yet wonderland dizzy has been released for the nes after all these years. you can download it for free at just click the click to play banner then the download game link. even box art is available to download :)

just came across this article guys
i'm wondering when the device is complete if it will work together with the sd2snes and the super everdrive flashcarts, i own the sd2snes myself which is why is posted this thread in this section but i'm sure super everdrive owners would be interested in this device also.
hopefully this device would make save states compatible for all games because apparently even if save state support was added to the sd2snes, it would be very limited just like it was on the old backup copiers for reasons i can't quite remember.
the technical guys have explained why save state feature is buggy using real hardware in the past but maybe this device would handle snes save states much better due to how it's designed or something :)

Off Topic / arkanoid doh it again hack for snes
« on: December 08, 2014, 03:15 PM »
has anyone had any success patching this new hack to this game?
i cant seem to find a rom which matches the crc32 posted in the info. i tried patching some roms regardless but they appeared as unchanged when i tried them out in zsnes which i usually use to try out patched roms before transfering them to my sd2snes.
any help would be cool guys, i'm a bit of an arkanoid fan and i loved doh it again and this hack looks quite good.

Mega EverDrive / fantastic dizzy stopped working on os10?
« on: October 05, 2014, 12:06 AM »
i was about to play fantastic dizzy through again a little earlier and it seems that it is broken fpr me in os v10. the codemasters logo appears and then as it goes to the language menu it quickly just starts looping back to the codemasters purple start screen over and over.
i placed os v9 back onto my sd card and it is working just fine with os v9. i think we were at v6 or 7 the last time i played it.
can anyone confirm that the game is broken with os v10 also? if it is the case that it's broken then at least we know whatever caused it happend from v9 to v10 because it's running perfectly on v9.

Mega EverDrive / those 3 super fighter team games
« on: September 14, 2014, 05:02 PM »
i've been having trouble tracking down the so called 100% cracked versions of these games, but it seems they are no longfer available at the place they were posted.
i know they have been released for a long time now but i'm not sure if it's ok to request help in making these roms work on my mega everdrive yet or not?
i'm not asking for the roms or anything just help with what to hex edit because i cant seem to find the info anywhere. the versions i have don't play correctly.

legend of wukong - does not seem to allow saving and resets when i enter into a battle.

beggar prince - this one is wierd i have at least 3 different versions, none of them save but they seem to reset at different parts. one when i get a spell, one when i beat the kid up and get the sling shot, and one when i enter a house and trip.

star odyssey - well i xcan't se anything wrong with this one immediatly, it seems to save and it has not reset yet but i suspect it will cause problems later in the game without some rom fixing.

the guy i spoke to who used to have working copies of these games before he sold his mega everdrive said he had a working copy of pier solar aswell. he said he hex edited it and then you still needed to use par codes with the hex edited rom to get it to work on the mega everdrive.
i know pier solar is still being sold so requesting help with that one is a no no. i only mentioned it because i was intrigued by the fact someone had it working on the mega everdrive.

Off Topic / proper name for achikoch (japan) nes game
« on: May 24, 2014, 09:06 PM »
i've had this achikoch rom in with my old nes rom collection for years and it's kinda fun but it don't appear to be included in the no intro or good sets. i figure that it has probably been named achikoch incorrectly and the game is included in the sets but under one of the many japan only titles. does anyone know the proper name for this game?
if anyone is unsure of what this title is here is a video of it someone uploaded to youtube ubder the achikoch title

EverDrive N8 / gameshark code txt files
« on: January 09, 2014, 08:25 PM »
i have never really had much to do with the gameshark side of things on everdrives but lately i been thinking of giving the function a proper try. from what i gather the codes come in the form of txt files? if thats the case i was wondering if theres a good reliable place to download these txt files and if so are they everdrive ready or do you have to change anything.
i'm asking this firstly for n8 but i would like to try out gameshark for other everdrive (mega everdrive, ed64) it would be cool if there were archives of gameshark codes everdrive ready available somewhere for a gameshark cheat noob such as myself lol.

EverDrive N8 / rom limit per folder on latest OS?
« on: January 09, 2014, 08:18 PM »
it's been a while since i updated my N8 OS and decided to update to the latest version with save states. i was wondering if the rom limit per folder had increased as it did with the sms everdrive new OS. the n8 per folder limit the last time u updated was 254 which is cool enough but i have to split some letter folders into more than one folder (S1 S2 for example).
i was thinking if the sms everdrive now supports 512 roms per folder then maybe also the n8 would support more than 254. i have searched and couldnt find any info so maybe i missed soemthing. i always end up having to research this rom limit per folder stuff when updating or setting up a new card lol.
