Still working on the instructions... my PC broke last week so I spent the weekend putting it back together. I'm in the process of editing the photos for the instructions. Fortunately you can use existing pads on the sd2snes PCB to solder part of the opamp to so at least it won't be dangling from a bunch of wires.

Thank you for your work. I hope I can do this mod soon.

ikari, can you at least tell us what op-amp we need to get in order to perform the mod to Rev. H before you release your guide? I just want to make sure that as soon as it's out I can perform the mod on mine

Cheers!

While I continue to suck at authoring (and recover from Christmas):

The opamp is a TS922 in SOIC 8 package.
Also you need two 10 ohm resistors (SMD 0805).

Pics are done, if you're curious see https://sd2snes.de/files/RevH/
00_orig-RevG_mod.jpg is only needed for original Rev.G units to bring back the DAC to 3.3V.

Thank you @ikari for the info on upgrading the SD2SNES! One question, does this TS922 also work? https://www.ebay.de/itm/291761982005

Okay, I'm done with it... made it on a Rev. F that I upgraded last year to Rev. G and now downgraded it to Rev. F again to upgrade it to Rev. H :o The soldering on that chip in pic 11 is a pain in the ass!

Here are two pictures of the upgrade to Rev. H:

I think the way ikari showed is simple and works as it should, but I have like 1000 pieces of the Soic8 boards so I just used one of them.

Thanks again ikari!

How could I missed that out?  :o

Thanks for sharing ;) Can't wait to test that out...

If this ^ PCB fits, I will share the design (as usual) :)
