yes I am pretty sure all understand now that this "save ram" is inside the cd-system and the tennokoe2 , the everdrive has nothing to do with this... after all both the cd-system and tennokoe attach to the EXP port, something that the everdrive cannot connect to  ;)

Cart even don't have any onboard ram!
Neither does the Everdrive MD but it saves on SD doesn't it? Noone is asking you to do anything extra, just to be clear...

everdrive-md has onboard sram. edmd store backup copy of sram on sd, but not save to sd directly
