Too expensive for me. Anyway, i have at least the Sega Saturn USB pad for emulators. Not the fakes, the real deal from SLS.  :)

Added Galaga '88 (J) Invincible

Combine with infinite lives and start with two ships. You'll keep the two ships and once you upgrade to three you stay that too.

Added Air Zonk Invincible. The death animation was annoying me. Sorry for lack of SMS. My kiddo and I are playing through these now. I'm making new stuff as I think it up.

I started looking at SMS this morning. I'll get those together.

My weird ocd thought process is that I can do them better now. I had a pretty standard way of doing SMS games that didn't work with PCE. On PCE I had to learn more about assembly and understand how the game's code works. Long story short it makes me want to redo a bunch of my SMS codes. I'll do your requests first.

Double post and re-post from PCFX forums. If you have time to test this for grins I'd appreciate it.

I've been asked for CD patches before. I hadn't really tried it due to lack of interest. Apparently the process is the same but it's more time consuming. I also don't have the games or a PCE CDROM for that matter.

With that being said, here's a PPF for infinite energy for Lords of Thunder. It tested successfully on Magic Engine. I don't know how or if this works if you aren't using the same source file I am. If someone could try this on hardware I'd appreciate it.

Cool. Doesn't work with the Japan version of LoT. The game doesn't start after the intro in Magic Engine. I will grab the US version then. I assume your CD images are in bin/cue format?

edit: Mmh doesn't start with a patched US version neither. I've created an ISO+WAV rip with TurboRip. Then the game starts, but the patch doesn't work here. No infinite energy. I got the US version from mondemul.  :-[
edit2: Ok, will try this exact Darkwater version now.
edit3: Just tried this version. No luck. The patched game still stops with a black screen after i've pressed the start button at the intro. Happens with the Magic System, and real System cards in Magic Engine (v1.1.3), also in the current Ootake.

Gah. Sorry that is so much trouble. Do me a favor and try this:

MagicDisc for mounting images for MagicEngine. This was the only virtual drive application I found that worked and wasn't garbage/spyware:

http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm

Grab HxD portable for hex editor:
http://mh-nexus.de/downloads/HxDen.zip

Open your bin/iso whatever in HxD
Click Search/Find
Change the Datatype to hex
Search for 8d85263a102d
Change the 8D to AD
Click File, Save

Remount the image and try again

Does it find the code when you search? That is wild. I just downloaded Ootake and it worked fine on it too.

Just ran through the process again. That is the only value you have to change. Make sure you unmount your file before you save it in the hex editor. If it's still not working no big deal. I'll go do SMS.

Arrgh, it works. It was indeed Daemon Tools that caused this problem. Magic Disc runs fine. Will burn it now.  :D

edit: Works perfectly on my PC-Engine Duo. Now Dracula X (lifes+energy) and Gate of Thunder (lifes) pleeeeease!  ;D

Got them downloading. I'll get them this weekend. I found a post in your name from nearly 5 years ago talking about this. The responses were like it was brain surgery. Funny stuff.
