How to mod the FLASHKIT CART MD with save state?
« on: July 22, 2020, 06:35 AM »
Hello, everyone!

The right figure is the FlashKit Card, which I bought from everdrive.me. I find that there are some blanks on the card, including a space with battery.
The left figure was found on the internet. We can find some more electronic components on it, and this card is saveable for SRAM games.
However, I can distinguish the missing electronic components because the picture I found is not very clear.

I want to mod this card to play some RPG games, and the progress can be saved.
My question is, how can I mod the card I bought from everdrive so that the srm file can be saved.

So, does someone have the information of this card?
What's the chip model, and the model of electronic components do I need to mod this card?

Save states are not possible.

To for SRAM backup, you need at least a compatible SRAM chip and battery, and since it obviously has space for both, SRAM saving should be possible. The FlashKit programmer MD also says it can access the SRAM so you can load a save file from a computer or make backups. If it didn't come with a manual with the details and if Krikzz doesn't reply to this thread, I think you should contact him and ask exactly what you need to do to make it work.
