Super Game Boy no sound (Super famicom)

Hi! I recently downloaded and tried the Super Game Boy software on my SD2Snes. It works perfect on my american Super Nintendo.
When using Super Game Boy software on my three japanese Super Famicoms i get no in-game sound or sound effects.
The Super GB title screen makes the normal sound, and the palette switch sound (x-button) also works.
But.... no in-game music or sound effects on the SFC. I have tried different BIOS, and all the settings I can find in the menu.
Maybe the SFC is incompatible with Super GB on the SD2Snes?

I found the problem. The universal adapter I am using is causing the sound problem.
