N8 Pro V2.11 Hot Key Reset/Disable

I just got my N8 Pro and it's great, but I had a question about the save state and menu hot keys. I can see in the menu how to set them, but I can't figure out how to turn them off or unset them. Is there a way to do this? For example, before I set the save sate hot keys they were listed as "OFF". Once I set them they changed to my settings, but I can't figure out how to get them back to "OFF".

As a side question, is there a way to reset all settings to default without removing the battery?

Check the manual. There is an option to turn off in-game menu which should turn all that stuff off.

The settings are probably saved on the SD card, not in RAM. Taking out the battery won't do you any good. Just reinstall the OS to restore settings. Backup your save files first.

Hold start to turn off the combo.
You can remove EDN8/registery.bin file, it will drop all settings to default. It can be done right from the cartridge menu
