Any of you lucky bums tried any hacked ROMs on your EDGB yet?
For example:

http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/190/
http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1623/

If you could, can you test some?

For example:

Super Mario Land Colour http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/1187/ was based on the Super Mario Land: New GFX Edition hack & supposedly runs on real hardware (I couldn't get it to start on my EMS cart). IIRC, Super Mario Land: New GFX Edition didn't run correctly on most emulators.

I'm hoping to receive my EDGB by the end of the month.

EDIT:
http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/190/
http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1623/

Both run without issue on my EMS cart on my DMG-01, so I can't see any reason why they wouldn't on the EDGB.

My Everdrive GB arrived yesterday in Toronto, Canada. Man is this ever a great product! I snapped a couple of pics off of my CRT, using both my Super Gamboy, and Gamecube Gameboy Player. Here's one from my RGB modded SNES Mini with the Super Gameboy:

As you can see, the Super Gameboy colour palette works flawlessly. Here's one with the Gamecube Gameboy Player via S-Video (damn, those Gamecube Component cables are over $200 these days :o):

The Everdrive GB even works with most ROM hacks I've tried with it, like the seminal CVA Quickfix (you're good to go, goombakid) ( http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/190/ )that turns Castlevania Adventures from a disappointing and frustrating Castlevania game with great music, into a flat-out great Castlevania experience:

One word of caution for those prepping their SD cards, don't use a Transcend brand card. I bought a new Transcend 16gb Micro SDHC card, and it wouldn't work, it would only give me an error: 0 x d3 every time the Everdrive GB attempted to load the OS.

I swapped out the Transcend Micro SD card for my Sandisk 16gb Micro SDHC card that I use with my Turbo Everdrive, and it works like a champ. Avoid Transcend Micro SD cards, and go with a Transcend card if you want to guarantee compatibility.

Bottom line, Krikzz has done it again, another phenomenal flash cart product that simply rocks. You've done the retro gaming community another great service with creating the Everdrive GB- thank you Krikzz for your hard work! Now if you'll please excuse me now...
