N64 Controller Pak Problem

Goldeneye 007 doesn't see my save games on Controller Pak. I Formatted a Controller Pak in DexPlorer and copied my save game to the Controller Pak. While loading Goldeneye the Controller Pak saved to the SD card. Went to load a saved game in game and they weren't there. Formatted Controller Pak in ED64 and copied backup save game from SD to Controller Pak and it still didn't see the save games. I put the Controller Pak back in the DexPlorer and it didn't recognize the format of ED64 on the Controller Pak... What? .... am I missing something?

I Loaded Original Goldeneye Cartridge with same Controller Pak and the save games showed up fine.

goldeneye does not use the controller pak it uses EEPROM (4 Kbits) for saves

Dvd2vcd is right, Goldeneye saves only to it'sown cartridge (which in the case of the Everdrive 64 means it saves to the SD Card, of course). Perfect Dark will save to either it's cartridge (so the Everdrive's SD Card), or a controller pak, depending on the user's choice.
