I'm very near to buying an Everdrive v2, but there's one thing that's bothering me. I want a solution in which the cartridge is completely closed, that is, there is no slot cut for the SD card or the USB port.
The problem I've run into, however, is that the Everdrive only takes an SD card and, besides doing some crazy soldering which I don't know how to do, there's simply not enough room in the cartridge.
I read on Assembler forums that it's possible to cut some SD cards in half since the case is half empty for some, but I don't know which SD cards are half empty and which aren't. I'd rather not take a chance buying a 8GB SD card only to get it in and realize it's too big and I can't cut it in half.
I found this via a Kickstarter capaign and was wondering if it would be too thick to fit into the metal slot for the SD card. It doesn't seem to have been intend to fit into the type of slot that Krizz is using for the Everdrive. Does anyone know if this will work?
