After Everdrive, my Mega Drive only shows a black screen

I bought a Everdrive, but when I tried to run a game in my console, it showed a black screen. Now, I can't run any game, even in other catridiges.

I don't know what happened.

Sorry for the few information, but I only know it.

Do you have any other mega drives and or power cables to test it on? Flash carts draw more power than retail games. What model system with what power supply (oem or 3rd party) are you using? Did you get the pcb board or the board with cart? Where did you order it from?

Probably console or ac adapter is broken. Nothing is forever...

I am searching for other console to test. I have a Mega Drive 2 Model - 3 in Brazil. It's not Majesco model. I used the original power supply. I get the board with cart. I ordered in a online site here in Brazil.

I guess that this week I can test the cart in other console. I would do this already, but I never thought the problem could be caused by power supply.

Its possible your power supply was on its last breaths, and the extra draw from the everdrive was the straw that broke the camels back.  I could be wrong, but the first thing to check is the power supply for sure.

Is there any updates?

Finally I bought other Mega Drive. But now I cant access the everdrive menu. I think that I forgot something.

I bought the Everdrive MD in this site: http://www.rnbtech.com.br/
I tested the cartridge on a working japanese model 1 console. This console is working with other catridges. Sometimes, when I try to use Everdrive MD, it shows the TMSS screen, but after it shows a black screen again.

Hello, I had the same issue couple of weeks ago. Turned out to be due to a (probably broken) MD. I have replaced the MD and it works flawless again.
