A bit confused about SRM Save Files
« on: June 03, 2014, 01:49 PM »
I'm checking some games on my SD2SNES, and I don't really know what to expect about the behaviour of the SRM files.

I know some games only let you save in some specific areas, and other use a password system.

I also know that the SD2SNES automatically saves the memory to a SRM files when I hit the RESET button for a couple seconds.

What I don't know and I'd like to ask is: If a SRM is saved, can I expect that the next time I load that game, it will continue from the same place as saved?

Thanks in advance

You must save in the game in order to have your progress saved in the SRM file. If the game doesn't have a battery save feature you cannot save your progress.
