retrogate already supplies Rev. F, by the way

i buy it on emeres this week , and emeres say " its a latest version and are purchased from the manufacturer Krikzz 1 month ago " , also its REV F  ?

i can't no open because sticker waranty on the SD2SNES

May be it is rev.f. I started make them while ago, at first time batches was mixed with new rev.f and boards from old stock. From now only rev.f

i have the PCB REV E1b its good also ? the shop say to me the PCB REV E1b is good for my Super Famicom Japanese console switched selector  50/60 htz

Out of curiousity, when are the Rev-F changes going to be pushed to Github? I can only see the two REV-E boards right now.

Additionally, U501, the PSRAM is... really difficult to source. Beyond obsolete. Do you think it'd be reasonable to swap it for 2X IS66WVE4M16ECLL-70BLI ? They're coming into production *now* so they'll be available for a while... and there's even a TSOP version planned.

By the way... great work! I am going to build up a handful.

Hm, indeed I missed pushing it. Coming up shortly. ;)
Good find on the RAM, thanks! I've been looking on and off for replacement parts lately. Gonna check it out. I've been thinking about using SDRAM directly as well but I'd definitely prefer being able to keep using the same firmware for upcoming hardware revisions.

Ikari, please don't make any changes that would make future firmware updates not work on the older chips... that would suck :(

I'm still holding out hope for SuperFX support at some indeterminate point in the future :)

I just performed the cap, inductor, and wire mod on my E1b, bringing it up to an effective Rev G.  Works beautifully for me.  BE CAREFUL cutting the trace; I accidentally sliced one of the thin traces above when my blade slipped, and I had to repair it.  Cut DOWN AND AWAY FROM THEM.
