Black screen, Steady green light

Hi, I bought my sd2snes 2 years ago, everything was working fine. Today I was about to play, but nothing happened.
I'm playing all on ntsc original hardware, no mods.
All my original games work fine.
When I boot up,
I get no error  without an sd card, only a black screen.
Only the green light is always on, no other lights.

I don't know what could have happen, since I've stored everything in a protective case, and everything was working fine until now :/

Which firmware do you use??? I had the same issue a few month ago too.

If you use the newest one (v.0.1.6) try to fall back to v.0.1.5. If your sd2snes boots normally then go back to v.0.1.6. Please use a fresh download from sd2snes.de

Hm, hard to tell what's wrong... to rule out a hardware defect you might try the following:

• Format the SD Card, download a fresh firmware from https://sd2snes.de/blog/downloads - it would be best to try different versions. (e.g. 0.1.5 and 0.1.6)
• Clean the contacts
• Try it out on a different SNES if possible

If none of that works it is probably a hardware fault of the sd2snes. To further analyze the error you can run the diagnostic firmware (https://sd2snes.de/blog/cool-stuff/sd2snes-diagnostics)

OK here are the results:

I did try 3 different sd cards\micro sd cards, formatted fat32, fresh firmware. Nothing happen. Black screen and green light, like there was no sd card inserted.
I cleaned all the connectors. Black screen with green light.
I only have 1 snes accessible :/
I was on fw 1.4 (originaly and everything was working perfectly few months ago). I tried  1.5 and 1.6. nothing
When I try with no sd card, I get the same result, black screen with a green light.
I can't use the diagnosis fw. black screen with a green light..

Nothing at all happen to that cartridge from the moment I did put it away in a case, and the moment I tried it back this week.
It's scary to throw 200$ on a card and then it autobrick itself while not used....

There must be something that I don't get.

More thoughts?

The diagnostic firmware is supposed to show a black screen at least for a couple of minutes. After 1-2 minutes the LEDs should start "working" though. How long did you wait?

I think I did 10-13 min, nothing happened, just the black screen and the green light.. :/

Doesn't sound so good...
Can you please re-download the diagnostic firmware and try to run it again and tell me if anything happens? I made some changes to better detect FPGA configuration problems.

Still nothing, I lefted it on for 10 mins. Black screen and green light on.
