This game is a lot of fun!! >:( But absolutely unsupported by SD2SNES? entering the game only result in a black screen.

no matter the game is:

BS-Excitebike Bun Bun Mario Battle Stadium 1-4(J) or (USA)

or without BS, Just  Excitebike Bun Bun Mario Battle Stadium 1-4(J) or (USA)

all black screen, I tried no-intro rom and goodsnes rom, it doesn't help!!

any one have any idea? This game is not a Chip-Implemented game, it is an ordinary game, it should be supported even by Super Everdrive V2!!

but why a black screen????

Weird. I got it too work. I recall it taking FOREVER to load, though.

It's one of those broadcast Satellaview games so it will take a long time before it starts and it might miss voices and BGM. But I don't think there should be a black screen. Try the latest stable OS if you aren't.

thank you for the information, but do you know where I can download this bsxbios.bin? I only have bsxpage.bin in the sd2snes folder, just rename it?

I tried rename it, and re-download the latest official firmware, and re-format the SD-Card and still doesn't help, I waited 3 minutes and the game is still a black screen.

Download this ROM, rename it bsxbios.bin, and place it in the sd2snes folder. Now Satellaview ROMs will run as if you actually have a Satellaview.

Thank you Very Very Much!!! Problem Solved, Really Appreciate your help!!

But still got a problem, this VERY game(Excitebike) can be accessed normally, but pushing any button gives me no response, it stays at the title screen.

Other games work normally and can be controlled by pushing buttons on the SFC game pad, does this game require a specific controller?

And sorry to bother you again, I have one last question, which is: how to save BS-game progress? for example, fire emblem(BS)?

I'm currently using SD2SNES firmware v0.1.7 Preview 4 with in-game hooks disabled.
https://sd2snes.de/files/sd2snes_firmware_v0.1.7pre4.zip

The following ROMs from the No-Intro Satellaview set work fine for me.

Excitebike - Bunbun Mario Battle - Stadium 1 (Japan) (BS SoundLink)
Excitebike - Bunbun Mario Battle - Stadium 2 (Japan) (BS SoundLink)
Excitebike - Bunbun Mario Battle - Stadium 3 (Japan) (xxxx-02-08) (BS SoundLink)
Excitebike - Bunbun Mario Battle - Stadium 4 (Japan) (BS SoundLink)

Maybe try deleting any .srm files that were previously created. Also, BS-X games were time specific since they were on a broadcast schedule , so you can't choose your character until the clock reaches the 6 minute mark and game play won't begin until the 7 minute mark. However, when I play those on SD2SNES it seems to automatically jump to the 6 minute mark to skip the waiting.

Also, if you want to play BS-X ROMs on an emulator or flash cart that don't have BS-X capabilities, there's a pack of patched ROMs here.

As for Fire Emblem, I'm not exactly sure. However, if it's like BS Zelda, I believe your progress was saved at the end of the broadcast hour, and you could continue your progress on the following week's download (hence why some of the games are labeled Dai-1, Dai-2, etc.).

Is there an alternate link to pre-patched roms that odn't require a bios? I think I'd enjoy them over having to go into the town every time.

Edit: Maybe something here worth testing....

Yes they work! No need for the bios!

More info on each of them and a more complete compatibility list can be found here:

Download of all my hacked roms:

Here is part 4 which doesn't require bios, and you can skip the timers.

Supposedly the patch used to make part 4 playable, also works on part 3, but I can't find a working copy of the hack, or the hacked version of 3 anywhere..
