Replacing PS1 Controller Ports
« on: February 02, 2016, 09:34 PM »
I want to replace my PS1 controller port. My system is a 1001, and I have a spare 5501 system. The ports have slightly different layouts, but can I put the 5501 port in my 1001? Thanks.

You could always try it, its just a ribbon cable. Probably the biggest thing would be if they are the same size.
NES - EDN8 | SNES - Super ED | Genesis ED-MD | Gameboy - EDGB | N64  - ED64 | Game Geear - Everdrive GG | GBA - EZ-Flash IV| Gamecube - XenoGC & EZ Flash IV | NDSL - R4 wood & EZ Flash 3in1
