Oh don't worry, the "back order" status didn't stop me for a second from placing my order- I was just concerned that the NES N8 might have already sold out with an indefinite re-stock time. Good looking out buddy, that thread waylays all of my concerns  8)

Looks like I ordered my Famicom version of the cartridge one week early.  If I had the choice, I would probably go the NES N8 route but no worries.. I have my adapter so all is good.  Lots of happy NTSC NES users I'm sure :)

Looks really good gotta convince my mate to buy one now as he thinks emulation on a Wii is awesome but it just isn't, video lag etc. I went and brought the HVC-101 as couldn't be patient to wait for the NES cart, LOL. Like to see one in action though. Good Work.

Hey thanks!  The desk is a wal-mart special haha.   I bought 2 of them and just took the hutch part of the second one and bolted it on top of the first one so it would give me a lot of shelving.

So yea can't wait to get the NES N8..but I have to put in my PPU mod for the RGB output on the toploader NES.

I believe I actually got it for a decent price. $200 is what I payed. It has gone up in price since though.
I'm not planning on selling just yet though. I'm just saying that I might have waited if I had known there was a project like this going on and making good progress.

I bought mine here

yup, that is a good price. the seller said prices will go up and it looks he/she holds his/her promises.

it is best to use this on an AV famicom. a RGB AV famicom is the best thing to play nes games. at least for now.
