SD2SNES Issue
« on: April 23, 2016, 07:18 PM »
I bought a SD2SNES cart which arrived 2 days ago.
I set it up and found that everytime i turn on the console it asks me to set the time.
This got annoying very quick so I googled and found that people mentioned their older everdrives had flat a flat battery.
So I tested the battery and yep, it has 0.01 volts in it.

These SD2SNES aren't exactly $20 carts, I realy expected better for the price hey. :(

Not impressed!

where did you buy it because that sounds like a fake one. I have bought 2 from trusted resellers and they both worked perfectly.
All I wanna do is shred.

Have you tried contacting the seller for a replacement?

I understand that you just got this thing, but is a replacement battery not easily obtainable where you are? If a battery swap with a brand new one causes the same effect, then you might have a bad SD2SNES.

Well... in theory it's not from krikzz, more from ikari. Anyways. Ask EvilDragon, the owner of everdrive.de for help. He is a guy you can hope for professional support :D

Hi,

Yes i spoke to Michael from everdrive.de.
He offered a small credit or send battery.
I accepted the credit and bought a new battery local as this was the fastest option. :).

Thanks for your help ppl. :)
