It is list of CD games, not hu-card games, as i can see. Populous is the only hu-card game which have saves, as far as i know, so turbo-ed does not support saves

It can't be just populous, I also know wonderboy the dragon's trap that has save support if you play on a cd bearing PCEngine (except the code option if you play on simple pcengines). If it was just a couple of games I don't think there would be options like the Tennokoe Bank to back up saves back on those days.

I talking about hucard games, i don't care about cd games. cd games has their own accessories. turbo-ed only for hu-card games  playing

I know krikzz, hucards is what im talking about too. I'll research into the matter and post if i find anything...
Tennokoe 2 bank is what i was talking about http://www.gamebaz.com/?a=i&i=30323
As you can see it has nothing to do with cd games but hucard saves.

looks like we talking not about same things. I talking about build-in saves support, like oboard ram+battery. A lot of snes and genesis games has such save function, but pce/tg16 has the only known game with native saves support, so i not implemented saves support for pce/tg16. But you show me some weird device, which probably work as extra backup memory for cd games, or may be help to make snapshot saves, like in emulator, but i don't understand where interrelation between turbo-ed and this thing? For games who have native saves support, not need any extra devices, like mentioned Tennokoe2

So Drakon with this tennokoe 2 you are actually adding internal memory save support for games like Dragon's Trap on a normal unexpanded PCE/TG16? (cd systems have internal save ram and some games like Dragon's Trap take advantage of it)

Yeah exactly.  I asked around on the pc engine fx forum and they said that's the thing to get to have saving capability.  Of course it would be even cooler if the turbo everdrive could replace the need for the tennokoe 2 but oh well.

See for yourself all the games with saving capability:

http://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=12247.15

They're pretty much all games with "system save" which means they would save to the system itself.  The tennokoe 2 is something that plugs into the back that gives you the ability to save to the system.

I also looked up what's inside of the tennokoe 2 to see how it saves just to be sure it's not something like flash that would eventually die.  Here's a french website where they opened it up:

http://wiki.pcengine.info/pmwiki.php?n=Hardware.Tennokoe2

To me it looks like ram, a custom IC, and a capacitor (the ram is powered by the electricity stored in the capacitor from what people on pcenginefx tell me).

No worries.  It's a bit silly that the system didn't come with the saving hardware built in.

Huh, you think that all those games has onboard sram inside of hu-card? No, they write their save data to memory inside of cd system! So if you want to have saves in those games, you should buy cd system, or  tennokoe 2 addon for standard pce.
To close question about save function with turob-ed: turbo-ed don't have any save funcions and such function will never be implemented. Cart even don't have any onboard ram!
