Great :D
Looks like any of the games I have which weren't detecting save type properly are all fixed now! Great work on this wonderful flashcart.

EDIT:  For the SanDisk Extreme cards to work, they need to be formatted with this utility:  http://krikzz.com/pub/support/everdrive-gba/tools/

My Everdrive X5 worked fine on 1.01 but I did get a D3 error when running the diagnostics. Updated to 1.02 and that error is now gone. Great work, I was amazed when I checked the forum and saw you'd fixed it so quickly after your holiday.

If thats a class 10, I have exactly the same card and it worked fine after the update. Odd.
It looks like this anyway, error before update, fine after.

Yes same card, except for a small triangle or arrow next to the letter O in EVO.

hmm, maybe that minor difference is the issue. Mine is as per the image.
Sounds like @hosser samsung card now works better as well.

I guess this is what yours looks like:

I'm not sure of the difference between the 2 though.

First of all, thank you for the quick update and fantastic support.

My SanDisk Ultra 32GB UHS-I Class 10 still doesn't work with GBAOS v1.02. I've used both Windows 10 default formatting tool and guiformat.exe. I got "Settings reset to default" followed by "Error FF". After that I just got the message the GBAOS couldn't be found.

My older SanDisk 2GB with GBAOS v1.01 still works fine.

Yes, that's my card. The full error is as follows:
Everdrive-GBA bootloader v1.01
Error:D3
SD IO ERROR

I also have a Sandisk 2GB MicroSD that has always worked the the X5. Actually I have multiples of the same Sandisk 2GB card, but only one works with the X5. I get the above error with the others.

If you got this error at bootloader screen, then OS update can not fix this problem. (those gray menu which you can see if you turn on the system without sd card)
For such case bootloader update required., but such update is not exist at this moment

Did you update the firmware first? If you're using that card to do the update, it won't work because it needs to read from the card to get the firmware update file. You'll need to use a working card to update it first.

OS loads from sd card at each startup, it does not actually update or change anything inside of cart
