Everdrive GBA OS update v1.02

I used to get a SD IO ERROR.  Now, I instead get an "ERROR: F5" and "FAT ERROR".

The card is a 32GB Samsung Evo UHS-1.

Edit: I used a Linux program "fatsort" to sort the directories and it is giving me the SD IO ERROR again....

Edit2: I saw Krikkz's comment about the bootloader screen.  Yes, I get the error at the bootloader screen.  Krikkz: Did you mean that a bootloader update would be possible except there isn't one, or did you mean that it is impossible to update the bootloader at all?

I will release bootloader update, but i should make update tool first. However, you will need sd card which can load OS to launch bootloader update

For Samsung EVO 32 owners :

Try formating your sd card using Windows, at slow speed. Then drop your gbasys folder and your roms and it shall work.

The only problem is, everytime you want to add or delete roms on your disk, you'll have to format it again... so, create a copy folder before doing that.

That's the only solution I figured out yet.

Thank you. When you have ED GBA bootloader update done, please consider updating ED GB and Mega EDv2 bootloaders as well. They also have issues with many new brand name SD Micro cards.

Just curious, which EverDrive carts can have the bootloader updated by users?

I have both those carts and they work with the very same san disk cards I can't get working on my GBA x5

I made bootloader updates for very early ed64 and edn8

when formatting try
keep Allocation unit size to 32K
anything bigger might cause read problem due too big block size
