Only in the middle of this year, i discover that Pier Solar have a CD Soundtrack included.
This CD can be used in addition with the Cartridge for someone that have a Sega CD, to enhance de game music.
.
Isn't a Sega CD game, it's only a CD Addon to the game, i never imagined this could be possible.  :o
.
My question is............ Is it possible to someone made a hack to include a CD Music for older games??
For example, a hack for Genesis Rock and Roll Racing for use a CD Music, so we can convert the SNES Rock and Roll Racing MSU-1 Audio to use in addition to the Genesis game.
.
If Pier Solar team achieved this, i suppose someone else can make the same for other games.

Sure, it's possible. There have been a few homebrew titles to do this, including a Sonic hack. I think it was Chilly Willy who discovered how to access this mode.

The likelihood of actually seeing it pop up in hacks of old games, though, probably isn't very good, unless they're games that have already been thoroughly disassembled by the community (like Sonic).

This is Cool man, i hope that someone can made this for other games in the future.
.
I remembered that the PC version of Maui Mallard (Donald - Maui Mallard) has a CD soundtrack.
The PC version of this game is a straight port of the Mega Drive version, but with much better Audio CD.
.
Look for the awesome PC soundtrack version.   :o

I've been researching about this, and i discovered that this function on Mega Drive / Genesis is called "Mode 1".
There's some peoples that already messing with this, and like Assman said, has a Sonic Hack (called Sonic 1 Redbook) that use this mode.
.
If you have a Sega CD, you can download this hacked Rom here: http://info.sonicretro.org/images/c/cd/Sonic1Mode1.zip
And you can made your own Sonic Soundtrack following the Tracklist from this topic on SegaRetro:

.
This guy made the same with Genesis Top Gear 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4entYukoEi4&t=685s
You can download the hacked Rom + Audio Track here: https://yadi.sk/d/ER1KC4sxv9EmY
.
And Rock and Roll Racing already has Mode 1 hack on hack v15, look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXj_9F-Z2Lo
You can download the hacked Rom here: http://www.emu-land.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=68481.0;attach=73175
But i don't found the CD Audio until now, but you can create your own.
