Is frame skipping normal on games?

Hi.

Just got a SD2SNES roughly about a month ago and I am very happy with it.

I wanted to know if anybody else gets an occasional frame skip during gameplay?

This is happening with all my games and I have about 56 or so on the cart.

Its usually noticeable with camera scrolling movement following the player and can be observed every 20 seconds.

Its usually a small jump of 1 frame and sometimes its 2.

Is this normal with the SD2SNES on all games or does it have a quick fix in the settings?

Before you answer the question, please take a look at my setup;

- Samsung SDHC lvl 10 card running off a Samsung adapter
- SNES is using S-Video AV input cable
- 42" Haier 1080p 60Hz LCD tv

Any help is appreciated.

It's probably the TV adjusting to the slightly off framerate of the SNES. (60.08Hz vs. 59.97Hz).
If your TV does not lock to the input's frame rate but keeps running the display at a fixed rate, it will need to skip a frame now and then to keep up with the SNES.
