Pro Action Replay (RAM) codes support?
« on: June 06, 2017, 04:05 PM »
I'm just wondering if this could (ever) be supported? I have A TON of Pro Action Replay RAM codes for multiple games that don't have a Game Genie/ROM code equivalent and I know nothing about code hacking, using tracers, etc. so I can't create new equivalent GG codes.

Thanks!

You can try this

https://codehut.gshi.org/HowtoConvertGenPAR.txt

Remember, when inserting your codes on Everdrive OS, you can edit the right side and insert a direct value, a GG code will appear on the left side reflecting the input on the right.

IIRC  you can do this "...all you have to do is enter the new code (00BA7C:6002)..." On the right in your GG codes input screen, you need to select the target game before going to the cheats screen. The cheats inserted are recorded in a txt file following the rom name, the modification date is always your cart build date.

That only works for ROM PAR codes. RAM PAR codes can't be converted to GG (nor do they currently work in the Mega Everdrive) - it's the codes that start with FF.
