Gotta Protectors - Amazon's Running Diet

A new Famicom/NES game was recently released called Gotta Protectors - Amazon's Running Diet. You can download it here.
But I can't get it to work on the EDN8. Does anyone else have any luck?

I only got a gray screen when I tried running the English version on my EDN8, but the Japanese version worked fine (played on a Analogue Mini)

English version works fine with N8 on my AV Famicom.
