SMW glitches

Anyone else had/having issues?

My first was Yoshi's tongue not animating fully and now I'm at Donut Plains 2 and the game will not auto scroll rendering the game unplayable.

I've tried different roms, All Stars and some modded SMW roms all with the exact same results.
