Re-sync every time I turn on console

Hi, I'm having to re-sync the controller and receiver every time I tun the console on. I'm wondering if this is an issue or if I'm missing something obvious. Thank you.

please somebody help. this is absolutely maddening. pressing the button on the receiver for 4 seconds and holding XYZ and MODE every singe time i turn the console on is so frustrating, there has to be some way around this.

Likely a new receiver will fix the problem.
