SD2SNES Add Ground Tab?

Hello. I'm using an SD2SNES ordered from Stoneage Gamer which came in a European style cartridge shell in my 1CHIP USA SNES Jr. The console has had the plastic tabs removed to fit all carts.

I'm having problems with an audio buzz/hum sound after starting most games. It does not occur with real games, including SFX games. This thread (https://krikzz.com/forum/index.php?topic=6322.0) makes it sound like I need to add a ground tab, which isn't on this cart. However, I don't know how to add it. The shell has no place for the tab. It looks like I'd need to cut out the plastic.

Also, why would I need to do this? It seems others have no trouble. Is it because I'm using the European style cartridge shell in a US system? Doesn't the SD2NES need a grouding tab like an ordinary game cart?

What kind of power supply are you using? Most common issues are caused by a third party or faulty power supply.

It's an original Nintendo SNES power supply with the gray barrel.

if you do, does SGB have audio buzz/hum sound ?

Sorry, never mind. Turns out my S-video mod was touching the heat sink inside the SNES Jr. Only the SD2SNES seemed to be humming from this.

The Super Game Boy was a good idea. It was not making any extra sound.
